29 November 2022 saw the eagerly awaited announcement of the British Travel Award winners 2021 \/ 2022 at a glittering ceremony in London. After a break in 2021 due to the continued impact of the COVID pandemic on the travel industry, the anticipation was palpable to hear who had provided the best customer service and product offering and who had delivered the best holidays across each category.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

The awards certainly came back with a bang. This year, hosted by ITV\u2019s Alison Hammond and with a special performance from Strictly\u2019s Anton du Beke and Giovanni Perenice, it was very much a star studded affair. With this year\u2019s partner charity the NSPCC, plenty of money was also raised on the night to support good causes thanks to a live auction.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

This year, the public voted more than ever before, perhaps not surprisingly since they didn\u2019t have the chance to do so in 2021. But perhaps this is also a reflection of the appreciation customers have for travel companies that have taken care of them over the past two years, despite the interruption to their original holiday plans. \u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

During the course of the evening, the Bookings For You team were delighted to collect the award for the Best Villa Holiday Company. On collecting the award, Bookings For You Director, Jo Mackay said, \u2018The British Travel Awards (BTAs) are entirely voted for by consumers so to make it on to the winning podium truly is a testament of the level of customer service we have successfully delivered over the past two years. It has not been an easy couple of years for anyone who works in the travel industry but I have been exceptionally proud of how we have been able to give our customers the flexibility and reassurance they needed.\u2019<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Bookings For You are already proudly displaying the winning logo on their website, giving clients the peace of mind that they are in trusted hands when it comes to booking a villa holiday in Italy or France in 2023 or beyond. The company also has exciting plans for the year ahead. They’ve already added lots of new villas in Italy<\/a> to their existing portfolio, giving their customers more choice than ever and have announced collaborations with some fantastic companies in Italy so that their customers have an even greater level of support both before and during their stay.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
