If anyone knows how to ‘do’ travel, it has to be travel bloggers. We caught up with some of the bloggers who attended our Masterclass earlier this year, to find out what their top travel tips are for making your holiday that little bit easier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Emma, Adventures of a London Kiwi<\/a><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

If you don’t have roaming internet on your trip, it’s now possible to create an offline Google map that can be marked with recommended restaurants and nearby sites \u2013 this is a new discovery that we tested in Italy, America, Budapest and New Zealand. All that\u2019s needed is a smartphone, a little time beforehand to set things up and a touch of GPS to impress the hardiest, hungriest travel companion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Book your hire car in advance! We learnt the hard way over the summer and booked our car a couple of months prior to travelling to Italy when the prices had increased. We opted against paying the extra for SatNav and instead downloaded all of the maps in Google maps onto our phones. When we arrived to pick up our car we had been provided with a satnav (built into the car) free of charge, so this is worth bearing in mind because the extra car charges can mount up. The Google maps were perfectly adequate though. We tend to travel with a booster seat for our eldest son and just hire a car seat for our youngest which also reduces the cost of the car rental. (It can be cheaper to buy a car seat over there than hire for 10\/14 nights).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
