1. It probably sounds obvious but one of the best things to do which doesn’t cost a penny is simply to stroll around the city<\/strong> and enjoy the amazing sights, art and architecture of the city. Florence is certainly a city that is small enough to be seen and enjoyed on foot. Head to the famous piazzas – the Piazza della Signoria, the Piazza Santa Croce, the Piazza Santa Maria Novella and the Piazza della Reppublica.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

2. Walk across the Ponte Vecchio<\/strong>. This is the oldest bridge in the city and was, in fact, the first bridge that was built across the River Arno. Enjoy a spot of window shopping in the shops that line the bridge.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
