This Lake Maggiore holiday apartment is situated in the charming lakeside village of Maccagno. The apartment is well equipped and guests share use of a swimming pool and jacuzzi with other guests staying at the resort. There is a restaurant on site as well as a bar and cafe. There are a number of other services available on site including boat and bike hire.
This Lake Maggiore holiday apartment is located on the ground floor of the building and is furnished in a modern and contemporary style.
It has 2 bedrooms (one double and one with twin beds), a bathroom with shower, sink, bidet and toilet, as well as an open plan living, dining and kitchen area. The kitchen in this Lake Maggiore holiday apartment is well equipped and there is also a communal laundry room in the basement of the property where there is a washing machine and tumble dryer.
Outside, the property has a south facing private terrace, equipped with table and chairs, ideal for al fresco dining. Since it is south facing, it enjoys the sun for a substantial part of the day. The terrace also has a partial view of the lake and swimming pool. Doors lead from both the living areas and master bedroom, allowing guests to make the most of this outdoor space.

Maccagno is a popular lakeside town boasting a number of restaurants, bars and cafes all within an easy walk of the apartment. If you prefer to swim in the lake than in the pool, the lakeside beach is literally a few seconds walk away. There are plenty of sports on offer for those who like to be active. As well as a number of water sports options, there are tennis courts and an athletics track nearby as well as plenty of opportunities to enjoy climbing and cycling. It's also within walking distance of the public boat stop in Maccagno making it very easy for guests to explore the wider Lake Maggiore area.

There are a number of apartments located within this lakeside complex. This Lake Maggiore holiday apartment is one of the cheaper 2 bedroom apartments since it doesn't enjoy uninterrupted lake views but we think the terrace here is great. It catches the sun most of the day and so is a lovely outdoor space for guests to enjoy.

We had a fab holiday thanks, we could have done with the temperature being up a notch or two but we still a great time! The apartment was good, almost brand new I would think?! A few minor things: Kettle only big enough for 3 cups of tea at a stretch (being English this is important!), one of the bedrooms had no mirror or table so we had to convene in one of the rooms for hair drying etc. Sun loungers and a BBQ on the patio would be a plus. Location wise, good, we went out on the ferry most days. We loved Cannobio! Here at Tomaso Sail you can charter boats and they will come and deliver the boat to you in Maccagno, brand new boats and a great day out!! Restaurant recommend – a bit more pricey but very good. Camin (hotel and restaurant) overlooking the lake. Fab staff and owner, fab food! In between Maccagno and Luino just about walking distance but they will arrange a taxi for you. Oh something else to mention… All restaurants in Maccagno are closed on Mondays! Luckily the takeaway pizza man is open and very friendly…
