This Lake Como apartment is situated in the delightful lakeside town of Bellano. This spacious studio apartment provides accommodation for up to 2 guests and is within walking distance of the lakeside.

Inside, this Lake Como apartment is furnished in a stylish contemporary design. The owners have designed the space brilliantly, using plenty of use of natural materials to create a warm and inviting place to stay. It can sleep up to 2 people on a double sofa bed and is also furnished with a fully equipped kitchen and dining table for four.

There is also a bathroom in this Lake Como apartment with WC, sink and shower along with a cellar area. This is an incredible space highlighting the way that the property has been built into the rocks. Lovely and cool, it's the perfect place to store your wine during your stay.

For those staying at this Lake Como apartment in the Winter months, there is a fireplace for cosy nights in along with a TV. Whatever time of year you visit, floor to ceiling windows make the most of the great lake views beyond. These views can also be enjoyed from a private terrace equipped with table and chairs.

Please note that the studio apartment is adjacent to a 3 bedroom villa and set within the same grounds. However it enjoys completely independent access from the main villa and the terrace is solely for the use of the guests staying in the apartment.

This Lake Como apartment is ideally placed for exploring the area. It is just a 5 minute walk from the famous Orrido di Bellano waterfall, situated in a stunning natural gorge formed millions of years ago. There are plenty of other beautiful walks and hikes to enjoy here too.

It is also just a 15 minute walk (or 5 minute drive) to the lakeside and to the boat terminal in Bellano from where you can catch a boat to a number of other towns and villages on Lake Como. Bellano has a number of shops and restaurants along with a couple of supermarkets making car hire unnecessary if you prefer not to rent a vehicle during your stay. To arrive at the property by public transport, we recommend catching a train to Bellano. The station here is a 5 minute walk from the apartment. For those staying in the warmer months of the year, there is a beach here too! nnAlternatively, a footpath begins just a minute from the apartment and will take you on a pleasant walk down to Varenna, one of our favourite villages on the lake. Varenna boasts an excellent choice of restaurants. From Varenna you also have the option of using the car ferry as well as being a foot passenger.

If you're looking to explore larger towns and cities, then Milan is just over an hour away by car and the Swiss city of Lugano on neighbouring Lake Lugano is just under a 90 minute drive. This has a glamorous nightlife scene with the rich and famous attracted here by the high end designer shops, upmarket restaurants and casino.

This is also a great area for sports enthusiasts. In the Summer months, sailing, windsurfing and skysurfing are all possible in Bellano and Dervio. And we can definitely recommend hiring a boat at the Bellano marina and getting out on the water for yourself.

For those visiting in the Winter months, the nearest ski slopes are at the Skilift Alpe Giumello ski resort which is 40 minutes away by car. The longer slopes of Saint Morritz in Switzerland are an hour and 40 minute drive away. The nearest airports are Milan Malpensa and Milan Linate which are between a 60 and 80 minute drive away.
