On the second floor of an historic medieval building in the heart of Spello, this property has retained many original features, but is otherwise decorated in a contemporary shabbychic style. Covered roof terrace and includes use of a nearby pool.
The apartment is located on the second floor of a historic Medieval building. The property is full of character, retaining many original features including beautiful wood and tiled ceilings. As well as an entrance hall, the apartment has a fully equipped kitchen, living room with fireplace, two large bedrooms, two bathrooms with shower, and a staircase which leads to the fabulous 'altana' (covered roof terrace) furnished with a table, chairs and sofa. This is a wonderful space, enjoying a fascinating view over the Spello rooftops. During the Summer months guests can enjoy use of a swimming pool belonging to a nearby structure. This is a just 3 kilometres from the apartment and can easily be reached by bike. Please contact us in advance of your stay if you would like us to book bikes for your use during your stay. Spello is a medieval hilltop town with relatively uncrowded streets compared to other such towns like Assisi. There are good cafes and restaurants nearby and the views are stunning.
A note from Jo
We absolutely love Spello. It's probably our favourite town in Italy. It just has something special about it, not to mention plenty of incredible restaurants offering the most amazing standard of food at incredibly good prices! Being able to stay here without the need to hire a car is such a bonus too. E-bike hire is less than a minutes walk away and the train station is easy to reach.
