Villa Pozzo is a beautiful family farmhouse sleeping up to 8 guests in 4 bedrooms. It is set within acres of parkland and boasts 180 degree views over the rolling hills towards Montalcino. Guests enjoy use of an infinity swimming pool, tennis and bocce courts.

Guests enter the property into a hallway. Doors lead from here to a beautiful living and dining area. This has comfortable cream sofas arranged around a focal fireplace. There is also a large wooden dining table seating eight. Vaulted beamed ceilings add style and character. Doors lead from this room to a covered private terrace equipped with outdoor table and chairs as well as sun loungers. The ground floor also boasts a cloakroom with WC and a double bedroom with ensuite bathroom with both bath and shower cubicle. This room has plenty of wardrobe space and enjoys views out to the garden. Finally, on this floor there is a large farmhouse kitchen. This is well equipped with everything you could need to rustle up an Italian feast. There is another outdoor table and chairs just outside the kitchen area offering guests a choice of places to dine al fresco. Stairs lead to the first floor of the property where there are three further bedrooms. The first of these is a double bedroom with ensuite shower room and WC. The other bedrooms are both twin rooms. A cot can also be provided if required. These bedrooms share a bathroom with bath and WC, ideal for those with young children. Outside there is a stunning courtyard entrance area. This is equipped with table and chairs for al fresco dining and enjoys wonderful views over the Tuscan countryside. Parking is available within the residence less than a minutes walk from the villa. Of course, guests are welcome to park directly outside the farmhouse to load and unload suitcases on arrival and departure. Guests also enjoy use of a swimming pool, tennis and bocce court. All of these facilities are shared with 8 other holiday homes which form part of the nearby residence. Since the pool is unfenced, all children must be accompanied at all times. Please note that there are 8 apartments sharing the home.

The property is within easy reach of the village of Buonconvento. This is a charming and beautiful working village, widely recognised as one of the most beautiful borgi in Italy. It boasts a good local population, making it an ideal base to visit 12 months of the year. It celebrates a number of events throughout the year. In February, it's carnival time whereas in May the Eroica cycle race passes through the village as does the Mille Miglia classic car race. In mid to late September, the Sagra festival sees the locals celebrating the wonderful food and wine of the region and locals sell the village's produce along the streets. Of course, you can buy the local produce at other times of the year too. There is a weekly market each Saturday selling fresh produce from meat to cheese, and from bread to fruit and vegetables. There is also a local butchers and bakers. If you want to explore further afield, then Buonconvento has good train and bus links to Siena and beyond or down to Rome.
