The British Travel Awards 2023 results are finally in! After months of voting, the evening of 28 November 2022 saw the eagerly awaited announcement of this year’s British Travel Award winners. At a glittering awards ceremony in London, sports presenter and actress Charlotte Jackson Coleman led the proceedings to announce this years winners with help from the trusted Alan Dedicoat. With a carnival theme throughout the evening, Latin American dance performances only added to the incredible party atmosphere whilst an auction raised thousands for the Make A Wish foundation.
During the course of the evening, the Bookings For You team were delighted to collect the award for the Best Travel Company to Italy and the Western Mediterranean Islands. On collecting the award, Bookings For You Director, Jo Mackay said, ‘The British Travel Awards (BTAs) are the largest consumer voted travel awards in the UK. Since results are entirely down to consumer votes, it really does mean so much to us to make it on to the winning podium. We believe that this is testament to the level of customer service we consistently deliver year on year.’
Bookings For You won their first British Travel Award back in 2016 when they scooped bronze for the Best Holiday Villa Company. They went on to win this award two years later. In 2019, they won not just one but two awards – Bronze and Silver – and in 2020 scooped another Silver, once again in the Best Villa Holiday Company category. In 2022, we won Gold for Best Travel Company for Italy Villa Holidays and Silver for Best Villa Holiday Company in the BTAs.
Bookings For You remains a small, family run business. We believe that this gives us the ability to deliver a personal service that many of larger travel companies are unable to deliver. We hope that these awards give clients the peace of mind that they are in trusted hands when it comes to booking a villa holiday in Italy.
But don’t expect Bookings For You to rest on their laurels. Far from it. Jo Mackay says, ‘The company has exciting plans for the year ahead. We’ve already added lots of new villas in Italy to our existing portfolio, particularly a range of new villas in Puglia and in Tuscany. This will enable us to provide our customers with more choice than ever before. We’re also collaborating with even more local companies in Italy so that we can provide even better support both before and during guests’ stays.’
