Hi, I ‘m Jo Mackay and I founded Bookings For You back in 2011. From small beginnings, we now have over 250 holiday homes to rent all across Italy.
Our portfolio includes apartments in the Italian Lakes, villas in Tuscany, farmhouses in Umbria, trulli in Puglia, beach houses in Sicily and much more… Back then, my vision was to bring a much more personal level of care and service to the travel industry.
More than a decade later, this same passion for excellent customer service remains. I believe holiday memories can be some of the strongest and longest lasting of any created in an individual’s lifetime. So I do everything I can to ensure that your holidays with us are as enjoyable and memorable (for all the right reasons) as they can be.
This passion for customer service is reflected in the number of British Travel Awards the company has received over the past few years, something that I am incredibly proud of. I love helping people find their perfect Italian holiday just as much now as I did back in 2011.
For me, a holiday is such an incredibly precious time to spend with loved ones and the chance to create truly lasting memories. We love being able to be a small part of making that happen. I’m also a massive fan of all things Italian.
Whether it’s the food, people, landscape, history, art or architecture – I’m pretty obsessed with it all! Myself and the Bookings For You are excited about helping lots more of you with your holiday plans in 2025 and beyond!

Bookings For You: An Italy Villa Rental Company with a Conscience
I recognise that it’s a real privilege to be able to travel and explore the world. And we also understand that a holiday is not something everyone is fortunate enough to be able to enjoy. Holidays cost money and, whilst we aim to cater for a wide range of budgets, we are fully aware that not everyone will be able to afford the luxury of a break away.
It’s for this reason that, as a company, we are keen to also give back when we can and to help those in need. Unfortunately, we can’t give away free holidays to everyone who would like to take one. In reality, we wouldn’t stay in business for long if we did! However, over the past few years, we have found concrete and sustainable ways to help those in urgent need.
Most recently, a number of our owners have worked with us to provide accommodation for those fleeing conflict and war. By working with AirBnB.org and their resettlement partners, we have been able to provide accommodation to refugees when needed. In the past few years, 100% of these refugees have been fleeing the way in Ukraine. But, going forward, we remain committed to helping those fleeing from persecution and conflict anywhere in the world by providing a safe haven when and where we can.
