Villas in Italy for two

Luxury Holiday Villas in Italy for Two

We think Italy is one of the most romantic destinations anywhere in the world. After all, Italy has been home to some of the most romantic figures of all time. Some of the most obvious include Romeo and Juliet, Casanova (one of the world’s most famous lovers) and even Saint Valentine himself!

Not only that, though. Italy is also home to some of the world’s most romantic destinations. The big cities of Verona, Venice, Florence and Rome spring immediately to mind.

If you’re looking to spend a luxury villa holiday in Italy with someone very close to your heart, look no further! Our list of villas in Italy for two includes some of our smaller, cosiest, and most romantic villas. If you do fancy something larger, have a look at our larger villas in Italy too. Just because it’s only the two of you doesn’t mean you can’t spread out a bit!

What sets our romantic Italian villas apart?

We believe a couples’ getaway should feel utterly effortless from the moment you arrive. Every property in this collection has been selected for its unique charm, privacy, and special atmospheric touches:

A secluded ambience

Enjoy quiet, undisturbed moments together. Our luxury holiday villas for two are tucked away in peaceful locations, whether nestled in rolling vineyard hills, hidden within private walled gardens, or set high on coastal cliffs overlooking the sea.

Private pools and jacuzzis

Nothing elevates a romantic evening quite like your own private plunge pool or outdoor heated hot tub. Unwind under the stars with a glass of local prosecco after a day spent exploring nearby medieval villages or coastal trails.

Date night locations within walking distance

For couples who love great food without the hassle of driving, many of our one- and two-bedroom luxury villas sit within easy walking distance of charming local trattorias, wine bars, and authentic pizzerias.

Breathtaking views

From private balconies framing Lake Maggiore to terracotta sun decks looking across Tuscan hills, our romantic stays prioritise breathtaking outdoor spaces made for slow mornings and sunset celebrations.

Frequently asked questions about our luxury villas for couples

Are the swimming pools and hot tubs completely private?

Many of our luxury villas for couples have private pools and jacuzzis. However some may have use of a communal pool, shared with other guests on site. If complete privacy is important for you, then get in touch with us and we will recommend some of our most romantic villas for two in Italy with private pools.

Can we book a larger villa if we want extra space just for the two of us?

Of course! We often find that couples opt for a larger villa with two or more bedrooms so that they have extra space in which to spread out and relax. The prices on our website are usually for the villa irrespective of the number of guests, but if it is just the two of you, then it’s worth checking to see if we can offer a low occupancy discount on our larger Italy holiday rentals.

Can you help us arrange special romantic touches for our arrival?

Definitely. We offer a complimentary concierge service for all guests that book with us and this includes a healthy sprinkle of romance! Whether you’re looking for rose petals to be scattered, a bottle of bubbly to be chilling or a special dinner to await you on arrival, we’re happy to help.

What time of year is best for a quiet couples’ trip to Italy?

It depends on what you want to see and do during your Italy villa holiday. An Italian city break can be enjoyed throughout the year. If you’re in search of guaranteed sunshine, then we recommend visiting in July or August. Or, if you prefer to enjoy a romantic getaway without the crowds, visit between April and June or in September or October.
