Inside, the accommodation in this 2 bedroom Tuscan house is laid out over two floors. There is a lovely sitting room on the ground floor enjoying views of the castle above. There is also a well equipped traditional kitchen, a bathroom with shower and two bedrooms. Both bedrooms have double beds and are spacious and comfortable to ensure a good nights sleep.
The house is situated close to the main gates of the village of Porciano. The decor is both elegant and in keeping with Tuscan traditions. From its windows, guests can enjoy beautiful views over the rolling hills of Tuscany, views that you can't help but fall in love with.
Local Area
This 2 bedroom Tuscan house is located just a 5 minute drive or 20 minute walk from the charming town of Stia. Here you'll find a number of restaurants, cafes and bars. The owners of this 2 bedroom Tuscan house also own a restaurant within the estate which is open for dinner from Wednesday to Saturday and for lunch on Sunday.
There is so much to see and do during your stay. Some of our favourite things to see include the castles of Poppi and Romena, the church of Pieve di Romena, the Camaldoli Monastery and La Verna Sanctuary. If you enjoy hiking, there are some wonderful walks in the area. Alternatively, if you prefer a faster pace, there are also some fantastic bike rides both in the forest and along the Arno River.
Florence, Siena, Arezzo and Assisi are also all easy day trips to enjoy. And we would recommend that you take time to explore the villages of Anghiari and Bibbiena which are both nearby.
