It’s almost the end of June and officially now the end of Spring and start of Summer 2023. Those holidaymakers looking to enjoy an Italian villa holiday this Summer may fear that they’ve left it too late to find the perfect villa in Italy for their Summer vacation, but fear not! Here are our top 10 villas in Italy which you still have the chance to stay in before the Autumn.
Villa Borgo, Tuscany
This stunning villa in Tuscany offers an idyllic, elegant and luxurious base for an Italian villa holiday. Perfect for large groups since it comfortably sleeps up to 20 guests, the interior is equipped with extremely comfortable beds to ensure a good nights sleep, whilst the exterior boasts a stunning swimming pool and gorgeous terraces, furnished with outdoor tables, chairs and loungers. This Italian Lakes apartment rental ticks all the boxes! Guests can enjoy use of the communal pool and jacuzzi, they can walk to shops and restaurants and they can enjoy superb lake views from the private terrace. Not only that but there are tennis courts and water sports hire less than a five minute walk away, whilst bike rentals are available on site. The apartment can sleep up to eight comfortably in four spacious bedrooms but, for smaller groups who only need to use three or fewer rooms, we are also able to offer a discounted rate.

One of our most popular Italian Lakes villas, it’s extremely rare for there to be Summer availability at this late stage. But for those that have left booking late, it’s good news that it is! Enjoying wonderful views over Lake Maggiore, this four bedroom Italian villa comfortably sleeps up to 10 guests. After a day at the pool, why not enjoy a short walk down to the nearby lakeside either to enjoy a refreshing swim in the lake or to enjoy an aperitivo at the nearby hotel. Alternatively, spend days exploring the other towns and villages on the lake such as Cannobio, Cannero, Locarno, Stresa and Arona, visit the beautifully tended gardens of the Borromean Islands or enjoy one of the other sightseeing activities that this beautiful area of Italy has to offer.

La Casa Piccola, Puglia
This charming one bedroom villa in Puglia is the perfect romantic bolthole for a couple or young family looking to discover the charms of the Puglia region on their Summer holiday. Apartment Cerise is a fantastic four bedroom Umbria apartment situated within walking distance of the charming village of Paciano. For us, this Italian Lakes apartment is all about location, location, location. Whilst we love the interior of this stunning palazzo with its incredibly beautiful painted ceilings, we love the lakeside setting even more. It’s within walking distance of shops, bars and restaurants. There are also tennis courts within a short walk along with a swimming pool. The boat terminal is also extremely conveniently situated opposite the apartment, making it so easy for guests to visit all the other towns and villages on the lake using the public boat network. All of which means that there is absolutely no need to have the stress of hiring a car when staying here.
This Italian Lakes apartment is available between 26 June and 24 July 2023 and then for selected dates in August.
Villa San Bastioni, Tuscany
Villa settings certainly don’t get more spectacular than the location of this villa in Italy! Perched atop a hill with 360 degree views, it is an incredible setting. The villa itself is quite contemporary inside but the location actually dates back hundreds of years to 1050 AD and it’s still possible to see the remains of the walls dating back to this time. We love the fact that it’s suitable for wheelchair users and also that there is a restaurant with equally magnificent views less than a 30 second walk away.
This Italian villa is available from 8 August onwards.
