Villa Alba is a beautiful, modern and contemporary three bedroom detached lakeside villa rental situated on the Eastern shores of Lake Maggiore in the Italian Lakes. This lakeside villa rental is set in a stunning location and enjoys terrific 180 degree views up and down the lake. A private set of step lead from the garden to the beach and lakeside, where guests can enjoy a swim in the lake waters. This truly is an idyllic setting for a holiday in the Italian Lakes.
This lakeside villa rental is south westerly facing with 140 m2 of living space, with a large balcony leading from 2 of the 3 bedrooms and a stone terrace and lawned garden area. The owner spent a couple of years renovating the property to an extremely high standard and has created a super property with a homely, welcoming feel.
The house has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The master bedroom has a kingsize bed whilst the second bedroom is furnished with a double bed. Doors from both bedrooms lead out on to a balcony with stunning lake views and overlooking the garden below. The third bedroom has twin beds which can be converted to a double if required.
On the ground floor of this lakeside villa rental, there is an open plan living, dining and kitchen area which leads out onto the garden and terrace. The modern designer kitchen is extremely well equipped. A fire in the corner of the living room makes this the perfect place to stay all year round...what better place to relax after a hard day on the ski slopes which can be reached within an hours drive! The TV in this room has wireless functionality making it possible for guests to watch channels such as Netflix and YouTube.
An outdoor table and chairs is set up on the terrace in the garden of this lakeside villa rental for al fresco dining along with a couple of sun loungers. There is also a BBQ for al fresco dining. The garden is fully fenced and gated and suitable for those with animals (or for young children).
A lockable gate leads down from the garden of this lakeside villa rental. Here guests can enjoy a beach area and direct access to the lake water. There is a buoy in the water should guests have a boat. This is available to use on request for an additional 150 GBP per week. Please ask for more details.
This lakeside villa rental is well placed for visiting the lakeside towns and villages on Lake Maggiore but if you wanted to explore a bit further afield, Lake Como is only a 1 hour drive and trains run direct from Luino to Milan in an hour. Lake Lugano is also easily accessible from the property as are other cities such as Verona and Venice.
Villa Alba is situated in the village of Porto Valtravaglia which boasts a small market every Monday between 8 and 1, a modern supermarket, an ice cream shop, cafe and newsagents. The village centre also boasts a couple of popular, well-rated restaurants serving both modern and traditional Italian cuisine. Guests can usually walk from this lakeside villa rental to the village along the beach (although please note that the water level does prevent this at certain times during the Winter). There is another bustling Italian restaurant within a few metres walk of Villa Alba in the other direction.

We have been lucky to have been able to offer this lakeside villa rental for a number of years and just love it. The location is simply superb.... a few metres in one direction you have an extremely popular lakeside restaurant and in the other you can walk along the beach to the village of Porto Valtravaglia. And of course, directly in front you have the beach and lake.

Das Haus ist modern und sehr sauber. Die beiden großen Zimmer haben einen fantastischen Ausblick auf den See. Lediglich das dritte Zimmer ist sehr klein, geht aber dennoch für zwei Erwachsene. Der Garten, die Terrasse und der Ausblick auf den See sind wirklich toll. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Das Haus liegt an der Küstenstraße ohne Gehweg, ein Auto ist daher empfehlenswert. Der nächste Supermarkt ist mit dem Auto in ein paar Minuten erreichbar. Das nächste Restaurant nur ein paar Schritte entfernt. Die Schlüsselübergabe funktionierte problemlos und schnell, die Gastgeberin war immer gut erreichbar und hat auf alle Mails schnell geantwortet.
