We absolutely loved Umbria. The apartment was in a very convenient area for getting to lots of places easily. Also close to industrial area, not pretty but good for supermarkets etc. We felt that the apartment was very well presented and clean. Beds very comfortable and good attention to detail in the rooms. The building has been beautifully renovated, retaining lots of character. The pool area is lovely with good quality sun loungers/ seating etc. We felt that the lounge needed another sofa, as there was just one 2 seater sofa bed. Also, the room with the washing machine was locked for most of the week and when we did get to use it, it was 5 Euros per load. We could hear voices from the next door apartment, so sound proofing not great. Would have liked a toaster but maybe that is just a British thing! Anyway we had a wonderful time and would welcome recommendations for other areas and properties in Italy to visit.
