The grounds are well kept and offer guests a lovely haven to return to after a days sightseeing. Surrounded by flat open fields, there are extensive lawns edged with borders planted with shrubs and herbs which guests are welcome to use. Sun loungers are also provided by the communal swimming pool. For al fresco dining, there is a traditional wood fired oven and BBQ shared between all guests.
The Umbria apartment rental itself is located on the first floor of the cottage. It comprises a double bedroom and single bedroom with bunk beds as well as a living room with satellite LED TV and comfortable sofas. The kitchen is modern and well equipped with microwave, dishwasher, four ring gas hob, oven, fridge and freezer. Slippers and toiletries are provided for guests in the bathroom along with a hairdryer. There is a safe in the master bedroom for the safe keeping of any valuables.

Located near the lively town of Foligno in the wonderful Umbrian countryside, this Umbria apartment rental is in the perfect setting for visiting every corner of Umbria including Orvieto, Perugia, Assisi and Gubbio. Some of the major towns and cities in Tuscany and even Le Marche are also accessible from the property such as Siena, Arezzo and Ancona.

We absolutely loved Umbria. The apartment was in a very convenient area for getting to lots of places easily. Also close to industrial area, not pretty but good for supermarkets etc. We felt that the apartment was very well presented and clean. Beds very comfortable and good attention to detail in the rooms. The building has been beautifully renovated, retaining lots of character. The pool area is lovely with good quality sun loungers/ seating etc. We felt that the lounge needed another sofa, as there was just one 2 seater sofa bed. Also, the room with the washing machine was locked for most of the week and when we did get to use it, it was 5 Euros per load. We could hear voices from the next door apartment, so sound proofing not great. Would have liked a toaster but maybe that is just a British thing! Anyway we had a wonderful time and would welcome recommendations for other areas and properties in Italy to visit.
