This beautiful Ostuni B&B boasts eight luxury and individually designed rooms, sleeping 16 guests in total. Available by room (or as an entire villa), it offers a truly luxury experience right in the heart of Ostuni.
This Ostuni B&B boasts two large communal outdoor seating areas along with a covered terrace to relax on, providing shade from the almost everlasting Puglian sun. On the upper terrace, you will also find a plunge pool with jacuzzi feature along with a selection of sun beds, tables and chairs. From here, not only can you relax and enjoy the view of this beautifully ancient Italian town but you can also see directly into this stunning property by way of the glass bottom in the pool itself. I can promise you that it’s quite an impressive design feature!
By night, the property is illuminated with carefully considered lighting choices. These highlight the juxtaposition of the traditional stone-wall architecture and the contemporary fixtures and fittings which make this property such a pleasure to stay in.
This Ostuni B&B can be both a wonderful base from which to explore Puglia and also a sanctuary to take a break from the hustle and bustle of Ostuni. On our recent stay, we were amazed by how relaxed we felt even after a long day of exploring this stunning region. Returning here each evening provided the perfect place to recharge before we headed out to dinner.Â
A selection of traditional local produce makes up a delicious Italian breakfast which is served daily between eight and ten in the morning. Each room is furnished with high quality toiletries, a fridge and pod coffee machine.
The central position of this Ostuni B&B means that the city’s world famous bars and restaurants can be reached on foot in just a matter of minutes. We would definitely recommend enjoying an evening aperitif in the main Piazza della Liberta. You may even be treated (as we were) to a show of fireworks to light up the town’s magnificent rooftops. Even better, our favourite restaurant in Ostuni – Operaprima – is just a couple of minutes walk away. Here you can enjoy traditional Puglian fayre, often with a contemporary twist or fusion of cultures. Do try the burrata with truffles – a taste to remember!
This Ostuni B&B remains our number one choice for a stay in central Ostuni. It can also serve excellently as a add on to your Puglia villa holiday or even a multi-region trip to Italy. Puglia’s stunning hilltop towns can be explored at any time of the year. We tried and tested the accommodation as part of a city break in November and were greeted by back to back clear blue skies and temperatures of up to 25 degrees – a real treat compared with November in the UK! We flew directly from London Stanstead to Bari in just under 3 hours with a taxi transfer having us arrive at this Ostuni B&B just 45 minutes later.Â
