The palace was originally built as a home for the parish priest of the adjacent church of San Michele Arcangelo however it was subsequently acquired by a local noble family - the Gigliucci - who carried out extensive renovation works. At the beginning of the 17th century, a marriage between this family and the noble Vinci family led to the palace being extended further to reflect the growing needs of this important Italian family. Further work was then carried out on the property in the mid 19th century by well-known architect Giovan Battista Carducci. These days, the palace remains one of the most significant palaces in the region and has been beautifully converted into a series of unique and beautiful apartments including this particular apartment rental in Marche.
