Inside, there is a lovely bedroom furnished with double bed as well as an adjacent shower room. There is also an open plan living and dining area with kitchenette.
Outside, there is a delightful little patio with table and chairs. It's the perfect setting for a spot of breakfast or to sit and enjoy each other's company as the sun sets. A short walk takes guests to the banks of the River Arno where it is possible to cool off from the heat of the Summer sun.
This Tuscan village house is located just a 20 minute walk or 5 minute drive from the charming town of Stia. Here you will find a number of restaurants, cafes and bars. The owners of Casa Marta also own an excellent restaurant which is open for dinner from Wednesday to Saturday and for lunch on Sunday. Reservations are required.
There is so much to see and do in the area. We would definitely recommend you visit the nearby villages of Anghiari and Bibbiena as well as the castles of Poppi and Romena. Also worth a visit is the church of Pieve di Romena, the Camaldoli Monastery and La Verna Sanctuary. If you enjoy hiking, there are some wonderful walks in the area. Or if you prefer to get out on two wheels, there are also some fantastic bike rides both in the forest and along the Arno River.
This Tuscan village house is also ideally placed if you want to explore the wider regions of both Tuscany and Umbria. Florence, Siena, Arezzo and Assisi are all easy day trips from Casa Marta.
