Villa Terra was originally a rural stone structure dating back to the early Renaissance, once used as an agricultural storehouse within a vast estate. However, in recent years, the villa has been carefully restored by its architect owners.
Inside, there is a generous open-plan living area on the ground floor. This brings together the lounge, dining space and kitchen beneath high ceilings with exposed wooden beams and stone walls. A fireplace creates a warm and inviting atmosphere, while the incredibly beautiful hand-laid terrazzo floors add a distinctive design element. Also on this level, there is a double bedroom with an en-suite shower room, as well as a convenient laundry room.
Upstairs, the there are two further double bedrooms, both with en-suite bathrooms. One of the bedrooms can be arranged with twin beds if needed. One bathroom has a shower, while the other boasts both anbathtub and a separate shower.
In terms of decor, curated blend of vintage furniture from the 1940s, 1950s, and 1960s sit alongside contemporary pieces and unique objects collected by the owners during their travels. These all add personality and depth. Soft textiles, tasteful colour palettes, and carefully chosen materials create a relaxed yet refined atmosphere. Large, carefully positioned windows flood the villa with natural light.
Outside, Villa Terra is surrounded by olive groves and vineyards. A large garden is framed by centuries old oak woodlands. A stunning 20 x 3 metre private swimming pool (1.5 metres deep) is perfect for cooling off during warm summer days or enjoying invigorating morning laps. Please note that this is open from mid May to the end of September each year. There are multiple areas for relaxation.
