Villa Antico is a stunning luxury Florence villa rental, situated just a 45 minute from the very heart of the city. The property has been meticulously restored to create the highest standard of accommodation. It's also set in the most idyllic of locations, close to Florence but in the heart of nature, surrounded by lush vegetation and adjacent to the Pesa River.

Accommodation in the main villa is laid out over two levels. On the ground floor, a spacious living area leads to a stunning dining room with large fireplace and bread oven. Here you will also find an incredible and perfectly preserved kitchen which dates back to the 4th century AD. It's astonishing to see but don't worry. Guests also have a modern kitchen complete with all the 21st century modern conveniences you could need. Also on this floor of this Florence villa rental is the first of seven bedrooms within the property. This bedroom boasts a large and luxurious bathroom with travertine shower.

Up on the first floor, there are three further bedrooms. All have private ensuite bathrooms and each offers a luxurious, relaxing and indulgent place to sleep. Also on this floor of this Florence villa rental is a second living area.

Outside, to the left of the main villa, there is a large annex. Inside you will find a double bedroom and bathroom on the ground floor and a second bedroom with two single beds on the first floor. This attic room has lovely views over the pool. This is a great area for families.

A smaller second annex was once an ancient sawmill, but is now home to a living area, kitchen and double bedroom which boasts a stylish and contemporary open shower area.

Outside, there is a large swimming pool (15 metres x 7 metres and 1.6 metres deep). This is open between April and October each year. Guests can lie back and relax on the loungers whilst listening to the sound of the river flowing nearby and the rustling of the leaves on the cypress trees. The atmosphere here really is magical.

There are plenty of seating areas within the grounds of the villa. There is a beautiful circular table wrapped around an ancient olive tree. Here you will also find a wood-fired oven and relaxation area. Other verandas are furnished with comfortable sofas, chairs and coffee tables as well as dining tables and chairs for eating al fresco.

Finally, there is a riverside beach area. This is a real oasis, where you can relax surrounded by nature and just let your mind and body be lulled by the sound of the water flowing past.

Please note that local taxes of 1.5 euros per person per day are payable locally on arrival in cash. Should guests wish to use it, a laundry service can be provided at a cost of 20 euros per hour. A chef service can also be provided for an additional cost.

This Florence villa rental is situated close to the famous Antinori Winery. This was awarded the title of 'the Most Beautiful Winery in the World' in 2022 and, certainly, it's quite an architectural masterpiece. The nearest shops and restaurants are in the village of Barberina Tavarnella which is approximately 8 minutes drive away. Pisa is 35 minutes away, San Gimignano 30 km away, Siena 45 km away and Arezzo 90 km.
