Villa Laveno is a lakeside villa on Lake Maggiore, enjoying complete seclusion and privacy. It enjoys the most fantastic views of the lake and is set within large, well tended gardens. The sunsets from both this room and the garden can often be incredible.
Inside Villa Laveno, guests will find a unique living area. Its unusual but striking central fireplace makes it a perfect room to enjoy all year round, even in the colder Winter months. With windows on three sides, it makes the very most of the incredible lake views beyond the garden. A large dining room has a long table, perfect for entertaining friends and family. And there is a small but well equipped contemporary kitchen with central island.
Villa Laveno also has three bedrooms. The first is a family suite which is furnished with both a double bed as well as two single beds. It's the perfect set up for a family with young children. There are two further double bedrooms. Each bedroom has its own bathroom, one of which is equipped with a hydro-massage shower.
Finally there is also a study in the property, ideal for those needing to get some work done during their trip. There is a sofa bed too allowing Villa Laveno to sleep up to 10 guests in total.
Overall, the decor is eclectic and homely. Often the furnishings have a nod to the 1960s and 1970s. We think Villa Laveno is best described as feeling welcoming and charming.
Outside, a swimming pool sits within large private gardens. A BBQ area and outside seating area provides the perfect setting for al fresco dining. There is covered parking for up to two cars.
Villa Laveno is situated just a short distance from the small lakeside hamlet of Cerro on Lake Maggiore. Laveno Mombello is just a 4 km drive away. Laveno is a bustling town and boasts a wide range of shops, restaurants, cafes and bars. This town provides super convenient access to all the other towns and villages on the lake thanks to its ferry service. This includes a car ferry which runs regularly from Laveno across to Intra. This means guests can easily explore both the Lombardy and Piemonte regions during their stay. From Intra, it's a short drive north towards the Cannero Riviera and Cannobbio. Head in the other direction from Intra and you can easily reach Stresa and the Borromean Islands.
