1. Der Weg zur Wohnung geht über eine sehr kurvige, teils enge Straße. In dem idyllischen Dorf sind dann noch einige Meter vom Parkplatz zur Wohnung zurück zu legen. Das lohnt sich, vor allem wegen des fantastischen Blicks über den Lago Maggiore. In der Wohnung hatten wir alles notwendige für eine 4 köpfige Familie, auch Waschmaschine und Geschirrspüler.

2. We loved the wonderful apartment with the best view over the lake and the hills. It’s a perfect and very quiet place where only the church bell reminds you that time is passing. You need a car!

3. We wanted to say how much we had enjoyed our stay at Lake Maggiore and how much we liked the really clean, spacious and comfortable apartment. Lovely views, ( we sat and looked out of the window at all times of the day and evening). We appreciated the little things such as toilet rolls, tea towels, soap, washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets and the hand and shower wash in the bathrooms. They are all little things but make a difference as far as we are concerned. I did leave a note for whoever came to clean but the heat must have got to me as I think the cleaners would have been Italian and wouldn’t have understood. I meant to talk to the lady to whom we returned the keys but forgot! The hairdryer in the smaller of the two bedrooms gave up halfway through drying one morning and when I unplugged it I got a very minor electric shock so that is something that will need checking. We also found one of the mugs to be chipped and another one to have a crack in the handle. We replaced the one with the cracked handle. We were concerned for your table tops as we couldn’t find any place mats or coasters so we used our newspapers instead! I don’t know if the weather was as hot as it gets but we would have appreciated a fan for the bedrooms. We also missed a teapot (typical British!) and would have liked a sharp kitchen and bread knife. Sorry if that sounds a quibble but it may be that other visitors would appreciate the same things as us. Having said that we all had a great time and would not hesitate to recommend the property to anyone of our friends looking for somewhere to stay in Lake Maggiore, and we would also be very happy to return should the opportunity arise.

4. Very nice and spacious apartment in a cosy village with a beautiful view on the lake. We had a very good time here. The road to the village is generally in good shape but partly very narrow and with a lot of curves. The interior of the apartment looks very nice and we didn’t miss any equipment. Unfortunately the terrace is too small to eat outside with more than 2 persons.

5. The information that you gave us in your emails, on your website and in the folder in the apartment was comprehensive and was an excellent guide to Lake Maggiore for first timers such as ourselves. We so enjoyed swimming in the Lake and managed to brave the icy waters of Valle Verzasca too – a real highlight and a beautiful and memorable day for us all! The gentleman at the tourist office in Maccagno was also most helpful and provided us with maps of the area and details of restaurants in Maccagno too – we tried out Aquaduluza as you suggested – very delicious and classy and then enjoyed delicious Pizzas at La Gabella – both managed by the same guy who was very pleasant and spoke good English too. It was a wonderful week, made all the more exciting by being in the centre of a very violent thunder and lightning storm and you know the results of that! The only downside was the road from Maccagno to Campagnano – not for the faint- hearted and the local drivers are a law unto themselves- but the view from the apartment was worth the ruined break pads! Thank you for all your help and guidance before and during our holiday – we has a fantastic time and will definitely be recommending Lake Maggiore and your website to our friends and acquaintances. We’re already looking forward to planning our next trip!

7. What a view to wake up to, creation cries out to welcome you each morning high above Lake Maggiore. The apartment is lovely, comfortable, well equipped, clean, and typically Mediterranean . The pictures on the website are accurate and give a good representation. Customer service before and whilst on holiday was quick, efficient and very helpful. The only slight issue was the internet did drop out when 4 people were on line at the same time. Would recommend the apartment and the booking company to others.

8. The only thing we struggled with was an internet connection which we couldn’t get but to be honest it wasn’t a major issue and removed any temptation to look at work emails. The children loved the area, it was great to be a little bit remote actually, very relaxing and we had some great days out as recommended to Locarno Lido, Monte Tamaro and the local lake beaches. We would love to go back maybe next year. Everything was wonderful. Thank you! You have a beautiful house!

10. It was fantastic thank you, the apartment was amazing. The views were lovely and we couldn’t have asked for anything better inside either. The location and villa information in the folder was really detailed and helpful thank you. The directions were helpful too and we particularly liked the accompanying pictures, meant we didn’t get lost! You’ve been so friendly and helpful and if we ever return or recommend a villa in Italy it will definitely be that one. Thank you.

11. We had a superb stay in Campagnano, the property exceeded our expectations, we will never forget the view. We were impressed with cleanliness, linen, furnishings , and eEnglish TV to watch the Olympics. I would recommend Bookings For You to friends and family.
