The Space

The accommodation in this luxury Lucca villa is arranged between a main villa and an adjacent guesthouse. These are set within an impressive 10 hectare estate in the Lucca hills, mostly comprising of olive groves and woods. It sits on white marble rocks in an elevated position 200 metres above the city which can be reached in just 10 minutes by car.

On the ground floor of the main villa, there is a modern, contemporary galley kitchen whose large windows make the most of the incredible views. A stylish living area truly encompasses 21st century design. Large iron shutters provide welcome shade in the Summer and maximise the light in the Winter. A striking red staircase provides an impressive centrepiece. Both outside and in, the owners love of art and architecture is easily apparent. Sculptures and artworks are dotted throughout the property and garden.

There are also three bedrooms in the main villa. The master bedroom has a kingsize bed (180 x 200 cm) with an openable roof. The ensuite bathroom has a sunken bath and walk in shower as well as a recessed wardrobe. Should it be needed there is also a sofa bed in this room which can sleep 1 adult or 2 children comfortably. The other two bedrooms share a bathroom. This bathroom has his and her sinks and a large walk in shower. Both rooms are furnished with a large double bed (160 x 200 cm). The third bedroom also has access to an upper terrace.

The remaining three bedrooms are in the adjacent guesthouse. All these rooms have large double beds (160 x 200 cm). The largest of these bedrooms also has a separate area with sofa bed. It's ideal for a family with young children. This room boasts an ensuite bathroom with walk in shower and double sinks. Like the master bedroom suite in the main villa, this also has a roof that opens. The other two bedrooms share a bathroom. One also has access to a private terrace.

Outside, there is a pool measuring 26 x 5 metres (and with a swimming area 16 metres long). The views from the pool are incredible. It is totally breathtaking to be able to see the entire city of Lucca and its walls. There are numerous seating areas outside. Our favourite is the huge terrace furnished with large outdoor table and chairs, perfect for dining al fresco.

Should guests wish to arrive in style, there is a helicopter landing area available on request.

Rates include a chef service which includes the preparation of breakfast and one meal (lunch or dinner) 6 days a week. Customers will bencharged 15 euros per person for breakfast and 45 to 55 euros for dinner depending on the menu. This is to cover the cost of food and drinks. A daily maid service is also included 6 days a week.
