The Space

This Lake Orta apartment dates back to the 18th century but the owners have cleverly combined the incredible history of the building with modern furnishings to create a truly elegant, welcoming and sophisticated space. As you enter this Lake Orta apartment you find yourself in a cosy open plan living, dining and kitchen area. A short set of steps leads to a bathroom and dressing room. To the other side of the living area is the double bedroom. This is truly a unique space cut into the rocks that the property is built on. Clever lighting adds atmosphere and for those staying in the Winter, there is a modern wall mounted fireplace.

Outside, there is a an extremely spacious private garden. This is furnished with a stone outdoor table and chairs for al fresco dining. There are also loungers so that guests can choose to relax and sunbathe here. Alternatively, guests also have use of the communal gardens where there is a swimming pool shared with the six other apartments. There is also an outdoor jacuzzi seating up to 5 guests. Should you prefer, you can walk down the steps to the lakeside from this Lake Orta apartment. Here there is a private beach for those staying at the apartments. For those wishing to explore the lake, we can arrange for a private boat with driver. Or you can, of course, use the public boat network.

Guests are also welcome to use the spa area. This must be pre-booked and, once booked, is for your personal use. The spa area has a sauna, steam bath and jacuzzi. There is also a fireplace here and loungers are arranged to make the most of the wonderful views. A herbal tea corner is always well stocked. However, should guests wish, we can also serve aperitivo in this area for the ultimate romantic gesture. Please note that included in your stay is one complimentary 2 hour visit to the private spa. No other guests will be able to use the spa at this time. Any extra use is an additional charge payable locally. Please ask for more details if required.

A separate spa and wellness suite with heated treatment beds allows guests to enjoy treatments during their stay.

A daily breakfast service is provided. This is provided in a charming basket for you to enjoy in your room. Should guests wish, a daily cleaning service can also be provided free of charge.
