The apartment is on the first floor of this historic building, accessed via an elevator. Inside, furnishings are both stylish and colourful, using rich fabrics and deep colours to add character and warmth. Many of the pieces have a nod to India, with carved wooden headboards and a painted tiger which adorns the wall in the open plan living and dining area. Other pieces are beautiful antiques. The mix of contemporary and traditional creates a unique, warm and welcoming place to stay.

Apartment Papini is perfectly placed to reach all of Rome's main attractions on foot. The Spanish Steps are just a 5 minute walk away. The Trevi Fountain, the Pantheon, Villa Borghese and Piazza Navona are all within a 15 minute walk. The Vatican City is approximately 2 km away and can be reached in 30 minutes by walking along the river. It's a similar distance in another direction to reach the Colosseum.
When it comes to dining out, you will be spoilt for choice with the number of excellent restaurants that can be found within a 5-10 minute radius. And, if you're after shopping, then you're pretty much just around the corner from the main shopping street - the Via del Corso.
