The Space

The beautiful house and estate was created in the 17th century in the middle of the Valtu00e8nesi wine-growing area. For centuries, the property served as a monastery, residence and winery, and more recently for many years as a highly regarded gourmet restaurant. It has been meticulously restored over a two year period by the current owners to preserve its historic charm while incorporating modern amenities for your comfort. Accommodation is arranged within a main villa (measuring 350 square metres) and a separate pool house measuring 30 square metres.

Keen chefs themselves, the owners have cleverly continued the villa's more recent culinary themed history. There are no less than four gourmet kitchens both inside the villa and outside overlooking the pool. Inside, the main kitchen enjoys stunning mountain views through iconic arched windows whilst the second kitchen is fully equipped with Gaggenau appliances and a wine fridge and boasts an adjoining vaulted dining cellar for 12 to 14 people. The third kitchen is located in the nearby annex. There is an incredible amount of kitchen equipment for guests to use. There are three fridges, four dishwashers, four coffee machines (a Nespresso, a fully automatic coffee machine, a Bialetti mocha pot and a filter coffee machine, a microwave, ice cream machine and much more.

There are plenty of other living areas for guests to enjoy. These include a library, an open plan living and dining room with home cinema and a vaulted cellar equipped with stylish fitness equipment.

Also inside are four beautiful individual and air-conditioned bedrooms, all with en-suite bathrooms. Spend your nights in the lap of luxury with super comfortable mattresses. extra large duvets and a selection of plush pillows. One bathroom has both a bath tub and shower whilst the rest are equipped with showers only. All are appointed with marble countertops and rainfall showers whilst Acqua di Parma toiletries are provided for a spa-like experience. There are also two additional WCs. Three of the bedrooms are in the main villa whilst the fourth is the separate annex. Also in this annex is a bathroom and kitchen. All bedrooms are fitted with safes and two of the bedrooms have mosquito nets at the windows. Three of the four bedrooms are equipped with an additional sofa bed or single bed allowing the home to sleep up to 11 guests in total.

Outside, the perfectly designed park-like garden pick up the culinary theme through the cultivation of fruit and herbs. Beautiful olive trees are also dotted throughout the grounds which cover an area of approximately 5000 square metres. A romantic pergola, fragrant plants and areas where individuals can retreat for privacy perfectly complement the garden design. An outside kitchen and BBQ allows guests to rustle up a feast al fresco.

The gardens enjoy stunning views over vineyards and mountains. The indoor-outdoor flow of the property is perfect for entertaining guests or simply relaxing and enjoying the natural beauty of the surroundings. Unique activity zones invite guests to engage in health-orientated exercise. Guests can enjoy the breathtaking 25 metre heated pool, a professional putting green and a sports field surrounded by beautiful olive trees. The bocce court is also always enjoyed by guests. And a special highlight for social gatherings is the covered 'sundowner' area within the garden. This is equipped with pool billiards, darts and table football. It's the perfect spot to end the day with fun and games and is particularly enjoyed by teens and children. For those holidaying with children, there are also a selection of board games inside the villa for you to play.

Please note that the heated pool is maintained at a constant temperature of between 25 and 27 degrees celsius from Easter all the way through to the first week of November. It measures 25 x 4 metres and has an additional relaxation area measuring 4 x 2.5 metres. It has a depth of 1.4 metres. Large, shallow steps provide access at one end, making it suitable for more elderly guests.

There is plenty of parking on site for up to 10 cars which includes two XXL camper van pitches and EV charging.
