Protected by the Italian Ministry of Culture, the villa was built in 1908 for the exclusive use of the Italian army. It was used for target practice (the targets can still be seen on the walls of the house) before being purchased by the current owner, Antonella, in 2000. Antonella spent a number of years renovating the property, adapting it for residential use and has lived here since 2004. More recently, she has decided to rent the villa to those looking to discover the beautiful region of Tuscany.
To the front of the house sits a large parking area set behind secure gates. A garden measuring approximately 2200 square metres, surrounds the villa. This is planted with mature fruit trees and plants. whilst a river runs adjacent to the property boundary. There is an above ground swimming pool as well as a covered terrace furnished with an outdoor table and chairs for al fresco dining. The space offers guests complete privacy. The garden is fully fenced.

A table football table in a small room to one side provides entertainment. Also on this floor is a kitchen, a small study and a bathroom with WC and shower. In the entrance hall, a spiral staircase leads to the first floor. For those that prefer not to use the spiral steps, there is also an external stone staircase that provides access to a first floor balcony and the upstairs rooms. A laundry room with washing machine and dryer sits tucked under the stairs.
