This spacious country villa was completely restored in 2020 to create an extremely family friendly luxury villa in Italy sleeping up to 16 guests. Being close to both Alba and Bra, it is in the perfect location to explore some of Italy's very best food and wine.
The house is laid out over three floors. On the ground floor there is a good sized kitchen along with a large dining area. The kitchen is professionally equipped and the hob has been installed on a portable unit so that guests can wheel it outside and cook al fresco. There are also three bedrooms on this floor. Two can be arranged as either double or twin rooms whilst the third is a smaller room with bunk beds. All have ensuite bathrooms, one of which is suitable for wheelchair users.
On the first floor, there are two further bedrooms, both with ensuite bathrooms. There is also a large L shaped living area with a variety of comfortable seating options including sofas and armchairs. There is also a grand piano. A small study area with desk and seating is also provided.
The final three bedrooms are on the second floor of the property and all can be arranged with twin beds or double beds. Two of these bedrooms also have the option of adding another single bed if required. The master bedroom is extremely spacious and also boasts a private terrace furnished with a small bistro table and chairs.
The furnishings throughout are modern and contemporary. For your comfort, all rooms have been equipped with independently regulated air conditioning so you can set the temperature best suited to you to ensure a good nights sleep.
Outside, there is a private pool surrounded by a terrace equipped with plenty of loungers. An adjacent area has a pizza oven and built in BBQ. There is also a wine cellar here, perfect for wine lovers, and which can be used for private tastings. And, for those with children, there is a covered area with both table tennis and table football, as well as a play area with slide and swings.
This Piemonte villa is situated in Monteu Roero, just 15 kilometres from the wonderful town of Alba, known all over the world for its fabulous wines and truffles. It's also just 20 kilometres from Bra, an old Roman town where the Slow Food movement was founded and still has its base. Along with the beautiful fruit markets and honey that the Roero area is also famous for, this really is the perfect place to stay for keen foodies.
However it's also an ideal spot for nature lovers and keen walkers and cyclists too with the peaks of the Alps close by and a plethora of trails, paths and cycle routes nearby. Turin, rich in both cultural and artistic heritage, is just 50 kilometres away and can be easily reached in under an hour. Along with Langhe and Monferrato, Roero has been a UNESCO world heritage site since 2014 and it really is the most idyllic place to stay in Piemonte. The nearest airports The nearest airports to the villa are Turin-Caselle (TRN), 75 km away or just one hour away by car and Milan-Malpensa (MXP) which is a 2 hour drive.
