Our family of 6 (inc 4 teenage boys) stayed here for 1 week in July. The apartment was very spacious and well equipped for our stay. Golfo Gabella is quiet and well maintained, with a lovely decking area with pool and jacuzzi.
We ate in La Gabella several times where the food, service and atmosphere was fantastic. We also ate on the lake side near the lido.
There are a couple of Coffee / Gelato shops a short walk to the villlage.
During our stay we took the ferry to Cannobio a few times, went to Locarno, Switzerland (train from Maccagno), hired a boat on the lake and the boys enjoyed the SUP’s.
The Lidos at Cannobio and Locarno were both great for a day out.
We really enjoyed our stay here and hope to return some day 🫶🇮🇹
