1. The holiday was great, thanks. The apartment was really lovely with the lake & pool view. My only comment would be that to have the outdoor table with 4 chairs would be more family friendly. I’m sure we will book again next year, but earlier so we can can have a lake & pool view again!

2. We’re safely back in Scotland where the temperature is ten degrees below Italy! We managed to get to Maccagno OK thanks to Lisa’s advice to use the Swiss train and Maccagno station wasn’t too bad – only a couple of steps. Golfo Gabella was good. We much preferred Lake Maggiore to Lake Garda as it was a lot quieter. My comments on the apartment are as follows…. The staff were very good. Both Lisa and her colleague were always very helpful which we appreciated. However the apartment got no sun at all, ever! Not on the balcony and not within the rooms. All because of adjacent buildings that blocked the sun. So we didn’t use the balcony. All other balconies got sun at some point in the day. Because of the above we went to sunbathe at the pool which was fully accessible. However on a couple of occasions we couldn’t do this as all the sun loungers were taken. There are simply not enough of them when a lot of people want to sit by the pool. So no sun at our balcony and no sun by the pool. Nina commented on two issues in the apartment. Firstly there should be 2 grab rails – one on either side. There was only one which meant that she had to use the wheelchair to balance. Secondly if she had wanted to go on the balcony she couldn’t because of the high threshold. But as I’ve already explained we didn’t use the balcony anyway. I hope these comments are helpful. Please don’t think we didn’t enjoy our time at the apartment because we did and Lake Maggiore was great. However I think it’s important to offer constructive feedback. Your assistance in our transition journey from Garda was also greatly appreciated.

3. Fantastic place, scenery breathtaking. Apartments are really nice and the kids loved the pool. (2 bed could maybe have done with fixed doors in shower other than that we couldn’t fault it). Staff very helpful and most efficient. Many thanks for everything. I’ll pass on your details if friends are heading that way.
