Recently renovated to an incredibly high standard, the owners have created a truly special home. Guests can relax and enjoy the private heated pool, jacuzzi, bocce court and golf practice areas or simply lie back and enjoy the view!

The Space

Guests enter into a spacious, open plan living and dining area. A large corner sofa is positioned so that guests can enjoy the wonderful views when seated. A trio of coffee tables sits in the middle whilst another coffee table is arranged between two large teal-coloured armchairs positioned in front of floor to ceiling windows which look towards the terrace and the lake. Bookshelves sit on the opposite wall whilst a Smart TV sits on the other wall along with a pellet stove, perfect for those staying during the cooler Winter months. Guests can connect their smart phones to a music speaker which is also positioned in this room. To the other side of the living area is a large dining table comfortably seating up to 10 guests.

Two stunning wooden storage units then line the way to the kitchen. This is extremely well equipped. Two bar stools arranged under an island provide a convivial setting for the preparation of meals. Plenty of dinnerware, crockery and cutlery is stored within sleek white units. There is a large built in fridge and freezer, a dishwasher, coffee machine, oven, ice machine and induction hob. A walk-in pantry sitting behind sliding doors to one side of this space houses a second fridge and freezer and offers plenty of additional storage space for groceries. Also on this floor is a WC.

Huge windows running along the length of this entire living, dining and kitchen area open up to provide access to a large terrace. Furnished with both outdoor sofas and chairs as well as a dining table seating 10 for al fresco meals, this enjoys the most phenomenal 180 degree views over the lake.

A staircase takes guests to the lower floor of the villa. Here you will discover the sleeping area. The first bedroom is on the right hand side. It is furnished with a large double bed, built-in bookshelves, a bespoke wooden unit and wall-hung bedside tables with reading lights positioned above. Windows to the front make the most of the wonderful lake views and there is access to a terrace. The second bedroom sits along the corridor. It is similarly furnished and is again positioned to make the most of the superb views of the lake. Sliding doors to the right hand side lead to the same terrace furnished with comfortable chairs. This terrace enjoys direct access to the bocce court. These bedrooms share a bathroom with large shower, sink, bidet and WC.

The master bedroom suite is at the end of the hallway. Enjoying phenomenal lake views, it also enjoys access to a private terrace furnished with outdoor chairs. As well as the bedroom itself, it boasts a walk-in wardrobe with plenty of storage space as well as a luxurious ensuite bathroom. Here, guests can enjoy a soak in the free-standing bath tub whilst gazing at the lake views beyond or opt for a shower instead.

Two of the bedrooms have remote controlled Venetian blinds on the windows, perfect for allowing you to enjoy the view without even having to step out of bed in the morning. Beds are incredibly comfortable with high quality linens and all measure 180 cm wide. In addition, a music speaker is provided in each room for guests to enjoy.

Finally on this floor is a laundry room with washing machine and dryer.

The decor throughout is contemporary and stylish. The owner is extremely talented and has designed unique, bespoke furnishings to perfectly fit within the space. Attention to detail has ensured that the entire home flows effortlessly from room to room. For example, stylish black lighting hanging from the ceiling in the living area ties in with the black of the photo frames on the wall and the metal of the banister railings as you make your way downstairs. High ceilings provide an incredible sense of space which is wonderfully sociable but the design also allows guests to enjoy privacy should they be in search of some peace and relaxation.

The owners have also equipped the house with the latest 21st century technology. Wooden floors on the ground floor and tiled floors on the lower level hide an underfloor cooling and heating system. This ensures that the property is the perfect temperature whatever time of year you choose to stay.

The owners have also thought of everything guests may need during their stay. There are hairdryers in every room, for example, and umbrellas are provided by the door in case of rain during your stay. Outdoor blankets and cushions ensure guests can stay warm and comfortable in the garden into the early hours, and portable, re-chargeable lighting can be moved by guests to create the perfect setting wherever you choose to sit.

The remaining accommodation is in a separate building to the rear of the villa. Downstairs, this rustico houses an open plan living, dining and kitchen area whilst upstairs there is a double bedroom. The living area is furnished with a sofa bed and so the rustico can sleep three people if required. This rustico is fully equipped with washing machine, dishwasher, oven, hob and coffee machine ensuring guests staying here can enjoy complete independence from the main villa should they want it.

Outside, the space is just as spectacular. Divided into separate areas on a number of different terraces, there are a several areas for guests to sit together or to find a private space for some time alone. To one side of the house is a private heated swimming pool. This is surrounded by sun loungers. Behind here, the sound of water running down the cleverly lit waterfall built into the rock creates a relaxed, calming space. There is also an outdoor shower here and large parasols to provide shade from the Summer sun. A small pool bar has been created close to the house, equipped with a fridge and with a collection of plastic glasses for guests to use poolside. In front of this area, a swing seat is positioned to make the most of the lake views.

Sitting above the villa and pool is a jacuzzi. The views from here are possibly even more impressive than from the main terrace so expect to lose hours of your day here! A large day bed provides an idyllic spot for an afternoon nap or to enjoy a book. And a stone bench is built into the wall above the pool, providing another charming area from which to enjoy the views.

There are plenty of other ways to keep everyone entertained during your stay at Suna Paradiso. In front of the house there is a putting green, behind which is a bocce court. And there is a second golf practice area above the swimming pool. A small amphitheatre to the rear of the house can be a great setting for a private music performance to mark a special occasion. For those in search of a luxurious, relaxing stay, then we can also arrange for guests to enjoy a private massage on the terrace. Privacy is guaranteed via outdoor curtains. And we can definitely recommend some wonderful private chefs so that you can put your feet up and let someone else do the cooking. However, for those that do enjoy cooking, there is an outdoor kitchen area equipped with a combined wood-fired pizza oven and BBQ as well as an outdoor sink.

There is plenty of parking for up to 5 cars in two different parking areas at the villa. Two EV chargers are provided for guests to use free of charge. Paths are lit automatically at night. Suna Paradiso is situated at the end of a private road so guests can be assured that there will be no passing traffic.

Local Area

Suna Paradiso is located in a quiet, upmarket residential area on the hillside above Lake Maggiore. Suna is a small but charming lakeside town boasting a number of small shops and restaurants. It is a 20 minute walk downhill from the house. Please note that there isn't a boat stop in Suna so guests will need a car in order to get out and about during their stay. Alternatively, 10 minutes on foot from Suna, guests will reach Pallanza where there is a boat stop as well as a number of additional restaurants and shops.

The area surrounding Suna Paradiso is absolutely beautiful and the property provides a perfect base to visit towns such as Arona, Pallanza and Stresa. Alternatively, guests can make the most of the lake and spend time on the beaches, try out the water sports on offer or hire a boat and get out on the water.
