1. Das Haus ist modern und sehr sauber. Die beiden großen Zimmer haben einen fantastischen Ausblick auf den See. Lediglich das dritte Zimmer ist sehr klein, geht aber dennoch für zwei Erwachsene. Der Garten, die Terrasse und der Ausblick auf den See sind wirklich toll. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Das Haus liegt an der Küstenstraße ohne Gehweg, ein Auto ist daher empfehlenswert. Der nächste Supermarkt ist mit dem Auto in ein paar Minuten erreichbar. Das nächste Restaurant nur ein paar Schritte entfernt. Die Schlüsselübergabe funktionierte problemlos und schnell, die Gastgeberin war immer gut erreichbar und hat auf alle Mails schnell geantwortet.

2. Villa Alba was a perfect spot for a wonderful weekend in the Lakes Region of Italy. The house is perfectly equipped and set up for a small group–we were 4 adults and two small children. Every room has a view of the lake and mountains, which is a terrific way to wake up in the morning. The patio and small garden are great place for the kids to play as well as for drinks and dinner. We loved it!

3. Gemütliches Feriendomizil mit wunderbarem, beruhigenden Seeblick von jedem Zimmer aus (Ausnahme drittes Schlafzimmer). Einfach herrlich!! Das Haus bietet allen grundlegenden Komfort. Die Nähe zu Luino machet es zu einem schnellen Ausgangspunkt zum Essen in zahlreichen Restaurants und Cafés und Einkaufen. Das ca. 500 m entfernt liegende Restaurant ‘Montesole’ lässt sogar in etwa 10 min. zu Fuß über den Strand erreichen. Kurzum: Eine Reise wert!!

4. Wir haben 9 wundervolle Tage im Juli in der Villa Alba verbracht. Die Lage des Hauses ist einmalig, denn es befindet sich direkt am See. Von der Terrasse hat man einen unbeschreiblichen Blick auf den Lago Maggiore und man ist nur durch ein paar Stufen vom See getrennt. Man sollte sich auf jeden Fall Badeschuhe mitnehmen, denn es ist ein Steinstrand. Wir haben das Haus in einem sehr sauberen Zustand vorgefunden und es alles vorhanden, was das Herz begehrt. Das Objekt ist sehr modern und hochwertig eingerichtet. Angefangen von der toll ausgestatteten Küche, bis hin zu tollen Bädern und sehr bequemen Betten. Man fühlt sich einfach rundum wohl! Ein Auto ist unbedingt notwendig, denn es ist kein Supermarkt fußläufig zu erreichen. Dazu kommt, dass die Straße keinen Fußweg hat! Mit dem Auto ist man aber innerhalb von ein paar Minuten beim nächsten Supermarkt in Porto Valtravaglia. Wir sind zum einkaufen immer nach Luino gefahren. Dort gibt es sogar einen Lidl und einen 24 Stunden Supermarkt (Carrefour). Das Restaurant “Monte Sole” ist ein paar Meter vom Haus entfernt und sehr beliebt. Wir haben es sehr genossen, dass es auf unserer Seite des Sees keinen Massentourismus gab. Wer das möchte, ist auf der West-Seite besser aufgehoben. Ich kann das Haus zu 100 % empfehlen!

5. Wir haben herrliche 5 Tage dort verbracht. Traumhafter Blick auf den See. Zugang zum See ist einfach sehr schön. Alles hat bestens geklappt. Das eine Zimmer ist bischen klein, wenn man mit 6 Erwachenen unterwegs ist, als Kinderzimmer schon gut. Dafür sind die beiden anderen Schlafzimmer wunderschön, mit herrlicher Terasse.

6. We stayed at Villa Alba last year in May, 2017 for a week. Two couples and had one of the most peaceful holidays there. There is nothing one can wish for as the house has been laid with proper planning and thinking for the comfort of the residents. The Views were to die for and there’s a staircase within the property going down to the lake shore. Accessible from all over and you could be in Locarno In Switzerland in twenty five minutes. Stresa and other towns are just a ferry away and location is perfect for a peaceful getaway.

7. Arrivés sous la neige et repartis sous le soleil on a bien profité de cette très belle villa. Même en hiver le lac est magnifique mais cela donne envie d’y revenir en été….

8. Wir waren mit zwei Erwachsenen und zwei Jugendlichen dort. Das Haus ist modern ausgestattet. In der Küche sind alle notwendigen Geräte vorhanden. Balkon und Terasse sind groß und gut nutzbar. Die Aussicht auf das Westufer und die Sonnenuntergänge sind Traumhaft.

9. Der Aufenthalt war sehr angenehm. Hatten alles was wir brauchten. Wetter war toll. Hatten für den Strand Badeschuhe dabei.

10. Der erste Eindruck von der Straße täuscht. Es wirkt recht klein und unscheinbar aber von innen überrascht es angenehm. Die großen Fenster führen fast alle zum See hinaus. Dadurch ist alles schön hell. Das Haus ist geräumig und mit den drei Schlafzimmern auch für Familien mit mehr als zwei Kindern geeignet. 🙂 Von den beiden Schlafzimmern zum See hinaus hat man einen wunderschönen Blick (insbesondere in der Nacht, da kann man vom Bett die Skyline der anderen Seeseite sehen) Jeder hat sein eigenes Reich. Es gibt auch zwei Badezimmer. Unten befindet sich ein großes Wohn- und Esszimmer mit Küche. Eine große Fensterfront zeigt zum angrenzenden Garten mit Seeblick. Auf der Terrasse bzw. dem Garten kann man tolle Stunden direkt am See verbringen. Durch eine Treppe kommt man direkt zum Sandstrand herunter. Im Sommer kann man den See bestimmt toll nutzen. Aber auch das Hineingehen mit den Füßen reicht schon. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Ein mitbringen von eigenen Küchenartikeln ist nicht notwendig. Es gibt sogar einen Mixer! In der Nähe gibt es genug Supermärkte bzw andere Einkaufsmöglichkeiten (einer hat sogar 24 Std, 7 Tage die Woche auf). Ein Mitbringen von Vorräten ist nicht notwendig. Alles in allem war es ein toller erholsamer Urlaub. Das Haus kann man nur empfehlen.

11. Ein sehr schönes Haus in phantastischer Lage am See mit eigenem Garten. Der nächtliche Blick von den Schlafzimmern auf den See phantastisch und einmalig. Grillen, Sonnen und Genießen ohne Einsicht von Nachbarn und Fremden. Es ist alles da, was man zum Urlaub machen braucht – von den Sonnenliegen bis zum Weber-Grill. Die Küche ist komplett ausgestattet und funktional. Das Grundstück liegt direkt unterhalb der Uferstraße und einer angrenzenden Bahnlinie, die durchaus wahrgenommen werden, aber unsere Begeisterung war so groß, daß dies hinnehmbar war. Das Objekt im Vergleich zu angrenzenden Nachbarn: top, top, top!

We got back from Lake Maggiore yesterday and I just wanted to email you to let you know that we had an amazing holiday and that we all loved our stay in Villa Alba – not least because of the beautiful views of the lake. Many thanks for your help and advice during the booking process and particularly for arranging for the villa to be available early on the day of our arrival. 13. We loved our 6 day stay at Villa Alba. The house has been beautifully refurbished and with just a few steps to the lake was perfect for us, the kids and especially the dogs! Lots of pretty little villages around the lake, as well as stunning views of hills and snow capped mountains. We enjoyed a trip taking the car on a ferry from Laveno to Intra and had a fantastic dinner at Hostaria del Golfo in Laveno – upstairs watching the sun go down over the lake. We found people were friendly and usually loved children although few spoke English and almost no one spoke French. It’s the first time we booked through Bookings for You, but based on this trip, I would definitely recommend them and the villa.

14. First of all, we really enjoyed our holiday in Villa Alba enormously. The lakeside view, especially from the balcony, is unforgettable. To answer your question, Lucia noticed that there was more provision for babies than was stated in the spec. We appreciated all the facilities for eating together, from the BBQ and seating outside to the kitchen equipment inside. We would echo what another guest had noted in the ‘instructions’, that a microwave would have been very useful, and the recycling/rubbish arrangements seemed confusing. But all in all, we were very content with what we found and it certainly lived up to our expectations.

15. We had a wonderful holiday at Villa Alba – despite the rather temperamental weather! We’ve stayed in many houses in the UK and abroad, and we feel that Villa Alba is up there with the best of them. It was superbly equipped, and the views from its idyllic location on the edge of the lake were out of this world.

16. We had a fantastic time at Villa Alba we thought it was stunning. It more than met expectations. A microwave would have been useful and rubbish disposal was a bit of a chore but that is just the system.

17. We really did enjoy our stay in Villa Alba. The house was beautiful and far exceeded our expectation. It is in the most beautiful place on the right side of the lake to enjoy the sun all day. The views from every room are stunning. The house itself is really bright, well designed, clean and modern. We were reluctant to leave it to go sight seeing! It was so nice we hope to return to it some day! All the villages around the villa are also beautiful and a delight to visit. It truly is a great place for a holiday…. 18. We really enjoyed our stay in the villa and it was an ideal location both by the lake and on the quieter Eastern side. It was our first visit to the lakes and we really enjoyed our time there. Even the driving was a pleasure. We would have liked to have the heating on during several evenings but were unable to find the relevant information. Overall we were pleased with our choice and would recommend it to others.

19. We had a great time at Villa Alba. The furnishings / fittings were much nicer than any of our previous rentals (all further south – Tuscany, Umbria, Emilia-Romagna, the Marches, Rome / Florence)… The terrace / view were fantastic, and kept us home relaxing more than any other Italy vacation.

21. The villa certainly met our expectations. We have had a wonderful week. The only very slight criticism is that a microwave would be very useful.
