The accommodation is spacious and arranged over two floors. Guests enter the property into a large entrance hall which flows naturally through to the living area. One part of this room is furnished with comfortable sofas and chairs arranged around a coffee table. Large glass doors slide back to reveal the terrace and garden beyond. Arranged outside here are comfortable outdoor sofas and chairs, as well as a BBQ. Two internal steps lead from this part of the living area to an adjacent but separate dining area with a formal table and chairs. To the other side of the sofas is additional seating arranged near a fireplace and next to this again is another seating area which is perfect for quiet relaxation, curled up with a good book. Stairs lead from the living area to a separate study on a mezzanine level above the sitting area, perfect for those needing to get some work done whilst on holiday. A spacious kitchen is well equipped. There is a stove and built in oven as well as an American style fridge freezer with ice machine.
Villa Arona also boasts a totally unique tavern area. This space is divided into separate areas - a comfortable bar area, a music area with grand piano and an informal seating area with fireplace. There is also a billiards table here and a retro style second kitchen with wood fire pizza and bread oven. Please note that this space can also be directly accessed from the garden.
There are six bedrooms in total. The master bedroom is on the ground floor and has an ensuite bathroom and large wardrobe. The bathroom has white sanitaryware with a bath and overhead shower. Three further bedrooms also sit on this floor, enjoying views over the parkland that surround Villa Arona.
On the upper floor of the villa there is a charming attic area which has been renovated and is furnished in a much more modern style. It has a very different look and feel to the rest of the property with exposed whitewashed beams and more neutral coloured, contemporary furnishings. There is a raised fitness area with running machine here, along with a bedroom with walk in wardrobe and ensuite bathroom with large shower. The sixth bedroom is also on this floor and has its own bathroom with shower. This part of Villa Arona also enjoys direct access to the outdoor terraces.
The decor throughout Villa Arona is traditional but elegant and refined with some beautiful features. We particularly love the decorated wooden doors and the homely feel that the property has.
Outside, the house is set in a large garden measuring over 3 acres. There is a private swimming pool, perfect for relaxing days in the sunshine. This is surrounded by a terrace furnished with sun loungers and parasols. There is also a large garage with space for four cars. However, there is plenty of other parking on the driveway. Numerous terraces at the villa itself provide a variety of seating areas outdoors for both relaxing and al fresco dining.
The villa is a short drive from the centre of the lakeside village of Arona where you will find a selection of excellent shops and restaurants. There is also a boat stop here taking you to all the other towns and villages on the lake. Closer to the property, there is a bike shop within walking distance along with a highly rated pizzeria. There is also a tennis club 10 minutes away on foot. If you don't mind a bit of a longer walk, you can be at the lakeside beach in 25 minutes.
