Inside, there is a welcoming open plan living and dining area furnished with sofas and chairs. There is a dining table for when you want to eat indoors. However, this room also has doors leading to a private terrace furnished with outdoor table and chairs, ideal for al fresco dining. This terrace enjoys views over the fields to the hilltop village of Ostra Vetere in the distance.
Back inside, there is a well equipped kitchen with 4 ring gas hob, oven and microwave. To the other side of Villa Ostra, there is a small study area, perfect for anyone needing a quiet space to work on holiday. There are also two bedrooms. The first is a double bedroom whilst the second is furnished with two single beds. These two bedrooms share a bathroom. However, there is also an additional WC in the property.
The furnishings throughout are elegant and tasteful with a combination of antique and more contemporary pieces to create a welcoming and homely feel.
Guests are welcome to use the large communal swimming pool (17 x 5 metres). Sun beds are provided for you to enjoy lazy days in the sunshine.
Villa Ostra is perfectly placed to explore the very best that this region has to offer. It's just a 40 minute drive from the spectacular Connero beaches, 45 minutes from the Renaissance town of Urbino and an easy drive to other sights such as the Frassassi Caves and the Furlo Gorge. There are numerous small villages and towns to explore nearby including Ostra Vetere, Jesi, Corinaldo and Mondavio. It's also close to Acqualagna, famous for its delicious truffles. And it's perfect for those who love the great outdoors with activities such as cycling and horse riding both close at hand too. Please note that, should you need additional accommodation, there is another 2 bedroom apartment within the estate or individual rooms can be rented in the main villa on site too.
