Accommodation in Villa Petra is spread over several levels. The ground floor consists of a single bedroom suite that houses a double bed, a sofa and a kitchenette. Clean and minimalist in style, the space is made particularly special by a unique exposed rock ceiling. Please note, on request it is possible to add an extra bed into this space. Also on this floor is a laundry room, a bathroom with shower and a lift that allows you to easily send any luggage up to the first floor.
The upper floor is reached via external stone stairs. Please note that these stairs are steep and can make the villa unsuitable for the elderly and infirm. Since the two main interior spaces are not connected internally other than by the service elevator for luggage, we also do not recommend this villa for families with young children.
At the upper floor, the interior is again modern and minimalist, with custom-made furniture and lighting that highlights and perfectly illuminates all the rooms. The open plan kitchen and living area has sleek wooden units which complement a wooden oval dining table seating six. A wall-mounted TV sits on an opposite wall and there is a sofa bed. Also on this floor is a bathroom with shower carved into the stone. Stairs behind the kitchen lead to a master bedroom with walk-in closet and large windows overlooking the living room below.
The living room opens onto a splendid terrace from which it is possible to admire a wonderful glimpse of Modica Alta and the Cathedral of San Giorgio. The terrace has a small pool (3m x 2m) set into rocks. This can be heated on request. An outdoor dining area sits under a covered pergola.
Villa Petra truly is the perfect retreat for those looking for an intimate and romantic setting for their Sicily holiday without giving up the comforts of city life.
Electricity is included up to 250 kWh per week. Any additional consumption, will be charged on departure at a rate of 0.40 euros / kWh will be calculated. Pets are welcome on request but are charged at a rate of 50 euros per stay. Please ask for more details.
Please note that the villa is opposite a hotel and petrol station.
