Inside, Villa Sicilia is furnished to a high standard. The accommodation is laid out on one level. There is a spacious open plan living and dining area. Here there is a corner sofa which converts into a sofa bed (160 x 190 cm) if required, a small dining table and TV. The kitchen is well equipped. The whole space is really sociable allowing people to cook, eat or watch TV together (or do all three at the same time)!nnDoors lead from this room to the most romantic bedroom in the property. This has a kingsize four poster bed and whirlpool bath tub. The tub is positioned to make the most of the views to the garden. There is also an ensuite shower room for those sleeping here. The other three bedrooms lead from a hallway off the living space. The master bedroom has a super kingsize bed and ensuite bathroom with bath tub. It enjoys direct access to the swimming pool. The remaining two bedrooms share a bathroom with shower. One of these rooms has a double bed. The other can be made up either with two single beds or with a double bed.
Outside, Villa Sicilia is set within large, fenced private gardens and enjoys spectacular views over the Aeolian Islands in the distance. There is a private heated swimming pool for guests to enjoy, complete with hydro-massage area. The pool measures 10 x 5 metres and is between 1.2 and 1.5 metres deep. Please note that this can be heated on request at a cost of 250 euros per week in the months of June, July, August and September. Plenty of sun loungers are provided. A large covered terrace provides a welcome break from the heat of the sun and is the perfect spot to enjoy meals or an evening aperitivo. A large wooden table here can comfortably seat up to 12 people. A hammock hangs between two trees - ideal for a mid afternoon nap or as a place to read a book surrounded by peace and tranquility.
There is plenty of parking for up to three cars set behind automatic gates.
Villa Sicilia is within walking distance of shops and restaurants, both of which are 600 metres away. The walk will take approximately 10 minutes. A greater choice of amenities including an ATM and pharmacy are just under 1.5 km away. The walk takes around 20 minutes. The nearest train station is at Barcellona-Castroreale 13 km away, whilst the nearest port is at Milazzo 21 km away. This will take you to the Aeolian islands. Both Reggio Calabria and Catania airports are around a 2 hour drive from Villa Sicilia. However, if you don't mind a longer transfer time, you can also fly into Palermo which is just over 200 km away.
