The owners ensured that the villa's original features were retained during the renovation process, not least the beautiful stone walls. Through the clever use of modern, contemporary furnishings that enhance the tradition of this home, they have created a warm and welcoming space for guests to enjoy.
Inside, the kitchen, living and dining area has been cleverly positioned so that all rooms lead directly to the terrace and pool area. Each space is contemporary, elegant and stylish. Sleek white units compliment dark wooden cabinets in the kitchen. The use of the wood is carried through to the living area to create one harmonious space. Here, a comfortable leather sofa and two armchairs are arranged around a central coffee table and fireplace. In between the two rooms sits a large dining table, perfect for meal times during the cooler months of the year.
The bedrooms are spacious, each with their own private bathroom with shower. Exposed stone walls steeped in history add character to each room.
The contemporary style extends into the garden. Here, sun loungers are arranged on decking surrounding the pool whilst chairs are positioned on a small grassed area. Steps lead from here to the rest of the garden which covers an area of 1700 square metres in total. There is also a terrace equipped with an outdoor kitchen and furnished with outdoor table and chairs, perfect for al fresco dining.
Please note that electricity is included up to 500 kWh per week. Any additional consumption is charged at 0.40 euros per kWh.
Please note that, due to the proximity of the swimming pool to the house, Villa Trifilla is not suitable for families with children 6 years and under.
Villa Trifilla is surrounded by nature and offers guests absolute privacy. The villa is just 4 km (5 minute drive) from the centre of Modica where guests will find a selection of shops and restaurants. The nearest beach is at the Marina di Modica, 16 km away. Sampieri is 20 minutes away by car.
