The Space

The property has undergone a number of changes and modernisations since it was built in the 18th century. The last of these was in the 1950s. It is elegantly furnished throughout and can accommodate up to 11 guests in 6 bedrooms, each with their own bathroom. The bathrooms have either showers or bath tubs. There are three bedrooms furnished with double beds. Two bedrooms are each furnished with two single beds. And there is a final bedroom with bunk beds. Please note that this room can sleep one person only. Three of the bedrooms are equipped with air conditioning. Fans are also provided should you need them.

The house also includes a bright, welcoming living area. This is furnished with sofas, armchairs and desk. There is also a fireplace here. Adjacent to this room is a reading room or study. Wooden bookcases are filled with books and there is a table, ideal for those needing to work, as well as a sofa. Also on this floor is a spacious dining table with table for 10-12 guests as well as a fully equipped kitchen.

Outside, there is a charming covered terrace. This is furnished with a large dining table as well as more relaxed lounge style seating. This terrace enjoys views over the Pesa River valley. A modern swimming pool (13 x 7 metres) is set within a lawned area. Plenty of sun beds are provided for lazy days enjoying the sunshine here. There is also a table tennis table. The gardens are characterised by boxwood pathways, mature trees . There is also a vegetable garden and guests are welcome to help themselves to any produce when ripe.

Included in the price is a daily housekeeping service. The housekeeper will come for 3 hours per day to tidy and perform light cleaning duties. Utilities are included with the exception of heating and air conditioning. When required, heating is charged at 50 euros per day and air conditioning is 30 euros per day. These fees are payable locally on departure. The local tourist tax is payable in cash on arrival. Linen is change free of charge weekly for those staying for 2 weeks or more.
