The accommodation in Villa Corta is spread over three floors. Guests enter into a large, antique stone arched entrance hall. On the ground floor, you will also find a fully equipped kitchen and a spacious dining room with wooden table and imposing fireplace. The living room on this floor is furnished with comfortable sofas, a games table, TV and fireplace. A large billiards room provides plenty of entertainment in the evenings. There is also a dartboard here too. Finally, there is a bathroom and laundry room on this floor.
All six bedrooms are located on the first floor of Villa Corta. Here there is a master bedroom with kingsize bed and ensuite bathroom. There are then two further double bedrooms (one of which can be laid out with two single beds if you prefer), each with an ensuite bathroom. Further along the corridor there are two further bedrooms which can both be arranged either with two single beds or a large kingsize. These rooms share a bathroom. And finally, there is the final bedroom. This is located on a mezzanine level and again can be arranged with a kingsize bed or two single beds, as guests prefer. This room has an ensuite bathroom. There is a second living area on this floor with a huge fireplace and bookcase.
Villa Corta is surrounded by well over 20 acres of olive groves, vineyards and gardens. The views from the outdoor terrace are breathtaking. A charming stone-lined swimming pool measures 14 x 4.2 x 2.3 metres. Sun loungers are arranged around the pool and there is also a wet bar with sink here along with an outdoor shower. Guests also have a bocce court, table tennis table, a fenced tennis court and a gym to use. Children can also enjoy themselves on the fenced trampoline.
Guests will enjoy a warm welcome on arrival at Villa Corta. A complimentary welcome dinner will be provided on the Saturday. And guests can then choose from 2 additional dinners from Monday to Thursday. Guests will also receive a selection of wines to enjoy during their stay along with olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Extra wine and oil can be purchased for a small fee.
The villa is located just a few steps from a pathway that leads to various walking and cycling routes along the Pesa River. It's a spectacularly stunning area to explore on foot. Greve in Chianti is the nearest town and is 9 km away. There is a great selection of typical trattorias and restaurants here as well as a number of shops and other amenities. Also worth visiting are the other charming villages along the Via Chiantigiana including Castellina in Chianti, Radda in Chianti and Gaiole in Chianti. San Gimignano is 38 km and Florence 34 km. Monteriggioni is approximately 43 km from Villa Corta, Siena is 58 km away and Pisa 94 km.
