The Space

The accommodation in Villa d'Oro is spread across four floors. Accommodation is divided into four separate apartments. Each is fully equipped. These then share a central living area, dining room and kitchen where everyone can gather and enjoy one another's company. Doors from the kitchen lead to an outdoor dining area.

The first two apartments are on the ground floor of Villa d'Oro. The first is wheelchair accessible. It has one double bedroom and two bathrooms (one with bath tub and one with shower). It enjoys direct access to the garden. The second apartment has one double bedroom and one bathroom.

Also on the ground floor is a private spa. This has a hot tub and sauna for guests to enjoy. Use of this is included in the rental rate.

On the first floor, there is a large apartment with four double bedrooms and four bathrooms.

The final apartment is spread over the second and third floors of Villa d'Oro. It has two double bedrooms and two bathrooms.

In total, the villa sleeps up to 16 guests in a total of eight bedrooms and nine bathrooms (one en-suite, five with showers, one with a bathtub, and two with both showers and bathtubs). Two cots are also available upon request.

From the top floor of the villa, guests can enjoy spectacular 360 degree views over the surrounding Chianti countryside.

Outside, the villa is surrounded by beautiful gardens. On the lower level of the garden, making the most of the incredible views, is a private swimming pool measuring 12 x 6 metres. This is surrounded by parasols and sun loungers. Closer to the villa, there is an outdoor living area with sofas and armchairs as well as a covered dining area with a table seating up to 16 guests. Adjacent to the villa is a private restaurant, reserved for the exclusive use of guests staying at the property. This is directly accessible from the garden.

Rental rates include a mid week clean and change of linen and towels for stays of 7 nights. For stays longer than a week, the property will also be cleaned on Saturday and a second change of linen and towels will be provided. All guests will receive a complimentary welcome basket containing seasonal produce along with local foodstuffs.

Please note that, when required, heating is an extra cost. It is charged at 0.40 euros per KW and costs are payable on departure. Any electricity costs above 400 KW per week must also be paid for on departure based on usage. Any additional cleaning is charged at a rate of 15 euros per hour. A shopping service can be provided at a cost of 30 euros plus the cost of the shopping itself.

A security deposit of 500 euros is payable on arrival in cash and is returned on departure upon the property being left in satisfactory condition.
