Villa Montecatini is a stunning five bedroom villa ideally placed to visit the famous spa town of Montecatini. It's also ideally placed to visit other historic towns such as Florence, Lucca, Volterra, San Gimignano and Pisa. A private heated pool and plenty of activities on site such as table tennis, table football and billiards ensures all members of the family have plenty of entertainment on holiday.
Inside, the accommodation in Villa Montecatini is laid out over two floors. The interior furnishings are modern in style whilst still incorporating traditional Tuscan features such as stone walls and beams. The use of colour provides a welcoming and inviting space in which to stay.
A long terrace leads to the main entrance on the ground floor of Villa Montecatini. As you enter, on the left there is a double bedroom and ensuite bathroom with shower. Also on this floor is a large dining area. This space is filled with light thanks to the large French windows. it is connected to a beautiful, contemporary, professional kitchen. Finally, there is a separate laundry room on this floor and WC.
Stairs (both internal and external) lead to the first floor where guests will find a large open plan living area. This is equipped with fireplace, TV, billiards table and table football table. Doors lead to an outdoor terrace overlooking the pool where there is a table tennis table. Also on this floor are two double bedrooms. Both have ensuite bathrooms, one with shower and the other with hydromassage bath.
A second staircase leads to another double bedroom. This room boasts a panoramic balcony and also has an ensuite bathroom with shower and Turkish bath. Another smaller double bedroom has an ensuite shower room.
Outside, there is a heated swimming pool (8 x 4 metres and 1.4 metres deep) for guests to enjoy. A panoramic terrace surrounds it, furnished with loungers and armchairs. The pool is open from the last Saturday of April to the first Saturday of October each year. It is south-facing and enjoys wonderful views that extend over the garden to the plains of Montecatini Terme.
Close by, a covered terrace has an outdoor kitchen with hob, stove and sink. And there is a table and chairs here for al fresco dining.
The villa is surrounded by parkland which extends in terraces along the slopes of the hillside. At the lower level is the parking area. And on the upper levels, guests can walk in the woods and amongst the olive trees. The gardens is filled with flowers and mature plants. And for peace of mind, it is fully fenced and hedged. Young children can enjoy the play area where they will find a swing and playhouse.
Villa Montecatini is perfectly positioned to explore some of Tuscany's most famous towns. However, it's also close to the nearby beaches of Versilia and its exciting night life.
