The Space
Villa Olearia is made up of two separate apartments.
On the ground floor, there is a 2 bedroom apartment with spacious living room, fully-equipped kitchen, two bedrooms (one with large double bed and one with two single four-poster beds) and two bathrooms. One bathroom has a bath tub whilst the other has a shower.
Upstairs, the second apartment has a spacious open plan living and dining room, a modern kitchen, two bedrooms (both furnished with large double beds) and two bathrooms.
The decor throughout is modern and stylish. Beautiful antique furnishings have been set side by side with more modern pieces, creating a classic, elegant and welcoming space. Rooms enjoy plenty of natural light and the owners have thought of everything guests may need. Kitchens are equipped with oven, hob, fridge and freezer as well as a coffee maker, toaster and kettle. A wall-mounted TV ensures guests can relax in the evening enjoying a film or catch up on the daily news.
Both apartments offer a fantastic standard of accommodation throughout the year. For those visiting in the cooler months, fireplaces in each property ensures Villa Olearia is warm, cosy and inviting. For those coming in the warmer months, both apartments have private outdoor space. The ground floor apartment leads to a small garden. Surrounded by trees, vineyards and olive groves it is a private and charming space, perfect for an evening aperitivo or a spot of breakfast each day. A wooden table and chairs ensures you can dine al fresco or spend time with friends chatting late into the night. Upstairs, doors from the kitchen lead to an outdoor terrace furnished with table and chairs for al fresco dining.
The apartment owners have a nearby estate which produces wonderful olive oil. Guests are welcome to visit their shop - Il Salotto del Frantoio - which is just a few steps from the apartment. Here, we will be delighted to offer discounted rates on an olive oil tasting for you to enjoy during your stay (subject to availability and opening times).

Local Area
Panzano in Chianti is a charming and authentic village in the heart of the stunning Chianti region of Tuscany. Here, guests will find a selection of restaurants, grocery stores, shops and a launderette. For those coming to the area to sample the wonderful wines on offer, there are also a number of excellent tasting rooms in the village. The village is approximately 1.3 km away and can be reached either by bus (the bus stop is just a few metres away) or on foot. Please note that there is no pavement but there are grass verges that you can walk along, however the path may be narrow in places.
Restaurants in Panzano include one of Tuscany's most famous dining establishments - Antica Macelleria Cecchini - where we would be happy to make a reservation for you for dinner. This is a 15 minute walk from Villa Olearia. Alternatively, just 850 metres away (or a 10 minute walk away), the same family also have a fantastic panini truck which we can highly recommend for lunch. Another great option is Ristorante Oltre Il Giardino which has a charming outdoor terrace overlooking the Chianti countryside. Or, at the far end of the town, 25 minutes away on foot is Il Vescovino which also boasts a lovely outside dining area.
