1. After a slight delay on day 1 we settled in nicely at this beautiful villa and have had a great time. Sadly we must go tomorrow and will leave Colombaio in tidy shape… All in all it has been great and a pleasure to stay here, and I thank you for your assistance and hope to return some day.

2. The house is perched on a hill and offers the same panorama as typical Tuscany’s postcards with golden hills, forests, olive and cypress trees, old castle in the distant, etc. It is super-quiet and the only sounds at night are those of cheeps and owls. Every morning we woke up with the sounds of birds & crickets. The house itself sleeps comfortably 9 people, it is an old typical Tuscany farm house renovated with lots of taste using quality material like natural stones, etc. Old and modern features are very successfully blended. Both the garden and the pool are perfectly kept and well equipped (long chairs, umbrellas, big outside table, BBQ, etc). Visiting around from the property is easy (provided you have a car!) and we frequently went to Siena and other great villages around. The first restaurant is 5 min. away and there are plenty of quality choices within 10-15 minutes. This review might sounds over-enthusiastic but I can’t find anything that would prevent us from returning soon.

3. We very much enjoyed our stay in the villa… The lady who did the cleaning was good and the villa was spotless when we arrived. Basically we had a wonderful holiday and enjoyed every minute – the property more than met expectations. We hope to be in touch to book another villa next year.
