Inside, the accommodation in this detached villa is arranged over two floors. On the ground floor there are two spacious living areas, one which can be used by guests as a TV room. Floor to ceiling windows and doors can be pushed back to bring the outside in. Also on this floor is a kitchen and dining area. This is equipped with an induction hob, electric oven, refrigerator, dishwasher as well as both an American coffee maker and espresso machine. A large table can easily seat up to 8 guests. Stairs lead to a lower floor where there is another living room as well as a second fully equipped kitchen.
There are four bedrooms in the villa. The first enjoys direct access to the garden and is furnished with a large double bed. The second room has two single beds. There are two bathrooms with showers that can be used by guests staying in these rooms. The third bedroom has a double bed and has bathroom facilities within the room that include a whirlpool bath tub as well as a separate shower. The fourth bedroom has an ensuite bathroom with shower.
Finally, Villa Versilia also boasts a private spa area with a jacuzzi seating up to 8 guests as well as a sauna. There is also a separate gym complete with exercise equipment.
All rooms are fitted with air conditioning and a music system ensures music can be enjoyed in every room. The decor is contemporary and stylish throughout. Interesting and colourful artworks adorn the walls and furnishings are elegant and tasteful.
Outside, there is a stunning private swimming pool with whirlpool corner and walking massage technology. This is open from 1 May to 15 October. It measures 14 x 4 metres and has a depth of 1.6 metres. The pool has been positioned to make the most of the surrounding views. Eight sun loungers are provided for your use around the pool and there is an outdoor shower where you can cool off from the Summer sun.
An outdoor covered kitchen sits overlooking the pool and is perfect for those who love to cook up a feast al fresco. It consists of a BBQ, wood burning pizza oven, stove, fridge, dishwasher and sink. There is also a large outdoor dining table here and an outdoor living area with more relaxed sofa seating. For those who want more outdoor entertainment, there is a table tennis table for you to enjoy.
Laundry facilities (washing machine and tumble dryer) can be find in an outdoor laundry room.
Please note that there are some additional fees which are required to be paid locally. These include a final cleaning fee of 610 euros. The owners also ask for a refundable security deposit of 1000 euros in cash on arrival but this is fully refunded on departure upon the property being left in satisfactory condition. Electricity and air conditioning are both charged at 0.45 euros per kWh. Should guests wish to use it, the pool can also be heated. The costs of heating it will be charged at this same rate of 0.45u20ac per kWh. The local tourist tax is mandatory and costs 1.50 euros per person per night.
It is also important to note that there is a separate annex located approximately 50 metres from the villa. This is sometimes used by the owners. Rest assured, you will not be disturbed at all during your stay and will enjoy complete privacy in the house, pool and gardens.
Villa Versilia is located in hills of Camaiore, surrounded by a large garden with olive trees. Just 100 metres from the villa, marked hiking trails will guide guests through the beautiful Camaiore area, immersed in nature. However, in the other direction, the sandy beaches of Versilia are just a 15 minute drive by.
The nearest shops are 0.7 km away and the nearest restaurant 0.5 km.
Other activities we recommend guests enjoy during their stay are visits to the historic centre of Camaiore, to the art cities of Pisa and Lucca, and to the town of Pietrasanta. Often affectionately referred to as 'Little Athens', this town is famous for its art exhibitions and is the capital of the area's marble production.
