The Space

At the heart of Villa Barbara is a spacious living room with TV (TVSAT) and an original 16th-century marble fireplace adding character. There is a separate laundry room. A bright dining room is the perfect setting for convivial gatherings, while the fully equipped kitchen combines traditional charm with modern convenience.

There are five tastefully furnished bedrooms. Each is decorated in a classic style, with generous sized comfortable beds and thoughtful details. Each also has a private bathroom. The first of the bedrooms is on the ground floor. This can be arranged either with two single beds or with a large kingsize bed. It has an ensuite bathroom with shower. The remaining bedrooms are on the first floor of Villa Barbara. All the bathrooms for these rooms have a bath tub and shower. Two of these bedrooms have large double beds whilst the other two bedrooms can be arranged either with two single beds or one kingsize bed. Each room is furnished in a classic style with high quality materials. The use of warm colours, natural light and elegant details, have created a living experience that blends history, understated luxury and intimacy.

Outside, there is a private swimming pool measuring 16 x 7 metres and with a depth of 1.3 to 1.9 metres. This is set within a beautifully maintained Mediterranean garden. The location offers total privacy.

Rates include a daily maid service (up to 4 hours per day) along with a change of linen and towels every 3 nights. This includes pool towels. Also included is a laundry and ironing service. On arrival, guests will be treated to a welcome aperitivo and can enjoy a glass or two of the award-winning sparkling wine produced on estate. We will also leave an additional 6 bottles of this wine for you to enjoy during your stay. And guests are welcome to also enjoy a complimentary winery tour at Decugnano dei Barbi too.
