The accommodation was initially disappointing – we arrived as it was about to rain and it felt really gloomy inside. Once we had everything opened up and the sun came out a bit it was lovely though. If I am being really critical as well I would add that if the staff had been more welcoming I would have felt quite differently, but they were very polite and professional, but not very warm (with the exception of a younger girl who was there later in the week!). Having said that, they then sent over a bottle of their wine for my husbands birthday. I really couldn’t work them out! Beautiful location though and we loved the area. We weren’t as close to the pool as we expected, which wasn’t really a problem as it was a nice walk of a few minutes. It was actually really quiet though, even though there were so many changes whilst we were there, and the setting was absolutely beautiful. Fireflies at night too! The pool was stunning and usually pretty quiet… I think most of the visitors seemed to disappear on whirlwind tours each day. One of the guests who stayed for a couple of days did the cookery course that you recommended and she thought she had gone to heaven! We went to a vineyard one day and it was so lovely – really nice people and they very generously let us taste loads of wine on a free tour! Castello D’Albolo… We had a lovely week! I was so grateful for all your help too.

This is an amazing property 5 mins drive from Castellina township. Property is as described: with added features being that the villa is within an estate that includes approx 8-10 villas with shared pool and facilities. The good thing is that this means there is an onsite breakfast restaurant option and wine tastings. Amazing property, highly recommended. Jo was great to deal with.
