It’s always a nice option as guests can walk to restaurants and shops rather than always having to get in the car. This is one of our most wheelchair accessible apartments in Italy. The property is on the second floor of a contemporary villa but is accessed via an external lift. The owner has gone to great lengths to ensure that this is a wheelchair friendly property. The ensuite bathroom in the master bedroom is wheelchair accessible and hand rails can be provided if required. Ramps can also be provided if required to help with access to the private terrace and the swimming pool is perfectly designed to help those with disabilities access the water.

This is a wheelchair accessible villa in Tuscany, perfect for larger groups of family and friends. Whilst most of the bedrooms are arranged on the first floor, there is a wheelchair accessible bedroom on the ground floor, whilst a ramp is provided to allow wheelchair users to easily access the kitchen which is normally reached via steps. It’s unusual to find such a contemporary styled property in this part of Italy so, not surprisingly, this Tuscan villa is extremely popular.
