Now that we have joined the millions who have watched the latest Barbie movie that was released here in the UK last month, we couldn’t resist jumping on the global Barbie bandwagon and sharing our list of the perfect villas in Italy to satisfy your inner Barbie (not forgetting Ken of course!)

Villa Rose, Tuscany

We all know how much Barbie loves the colour pink so what better villa in Italy to suggest first and foremost than Villa Rose. Certainly this stunning pink property is perfect for ‘stereotypical Barbie’ played by Margot Robbie. This could definitely be her perfect villa in Italy. We’re more than confident that she’d fall in love with it based on the exterior colour alone but, once inside, she’ll equally love the elegant interiors. We think she’d be particularly impressed with the four poster in the master bedroom!

Villa Mare, Sicily

Of course, if we’re going to have the perfect villa in Italy for ‘stereotypical Barbie’ then we need to find one for ‘stereotypical Ken’ too played by Ryan Gosling. We’ve plumped for Villa Mare, a villa in Sicily just metres from the beach. After all, it’s clear how much Ken needs to be near the sand for posing purposes, and who knows, maybe he could even master his surfing skills in the nearby sea! Whenever his day on the beach is over, he’ll certainly feel more than comfortable posing on the villa’s private terrace. We reckon he could even tempt Barbie to come over and spend time relaxing with him at Villa Mare!

Villa Lucca, Tuscany

Villa Lucca was originally built as the summer residence of the important Controni family. The Controni’s were noble merchants of Lucca and their position in Italian society through the centuries the house has meant that the house has hosted many famous personalities over the years, including Prince Frederick of Denmark and Norway. We figure if its good enough for royalty, then it would certainly be up to scratch for Presidential Barbie, played by Issa Rae in the latest movie.

Villa Dani, Tuscany

Last but not least, ‘come on Barbie, let’s go party!’ at Villa Dani, a luxury villa in Italy, situated within easy reach of both Florence and Lucca. If Barbie is looking for a sleepover pad big enough to accommodate large groups, then Villa Dani is the perfect choice. Sleeping up to 32 guests, all the Barbie’s can relax here knowing someone else is doing the hard work. We thought we’d give Ken the last word and we’re pretty confident that all the Kens will enjoy Casa Belva. Not only that, but this stylish, contemporary villa provides them with plenty of perfect backdrops, ideal for those instagram poses!
