We may be slightly biased – but we think we have some of the finest villas in Italy (it’s one of the reasons we’ve created our truly magnificent luxury collection – for those of you looking for an extra special holiday retreat). So, we’ve picked out some of our finest, most beautiful villas in the Italian Lakes:
Apartment Toretta II
This one bedroom apartment has fabulous views over Lake Maggiore, with a picture-perfect terrace for morning coffees. Completely renovated last year, it has a contemporary feel – but still homely.

This one bedroom apartment has sublime lake views over Lake Maggiore, and there’s an extremely large terrace for guests to dine al fresco. The apartment is sleek and minimalistic, with a striking feature wall in the lounge.

The luxury villa is set on a hill overlook Lake Maggiore, and is truly spectacular. Traditionally decorated, it’s a real home away from home – and has extensive gardens complete with pool, terrace and BBQ.
Good to know: The local village is Brezzo di Bedero and has a lovely pizzeria – as well as a play park for kids.
This incredibly three bedroom villa has phenomenal views over Lake Maggiore. It has a striking, contemporary design – used as a second home – with a number of statement pieces for that ‘wow’ factor. Outside there’s a beautifully-kept garden, with private pool and terrace.
Good to know: The villa is an ideal base to explore the Borromean Islands, and Lake Orta. The nearby villages of Suna, Pallanza and Stresa are also well-worth exploring.
