Maccagno is a popular lakeside town boasting a number of restaurants, bars and cafes all within walking distance of the apartment. The nearest restaurant is on site whilst the second closest is just a few metres in the other direction. There is also a helpful tourist information office within the town if you need any information about what to see and do in the area. It is situated just across from a lakeside beach area which is popular with the locals. The lake is wonderful to swim in and there are platforms cleverly positioned in the lake to swim out to.

We love the convenience of the apartments within this lakeside complex and this property is no exception. Located on the ground floor adds to its popularity, particularly among families, as it allows guests to easy head from the apartment to the wonderful pool area. Many of the apartments here are privately owned, including this one, and these owners have added some lovely touches to give it a homely welcoming feel. It is a short walk from a supermarket, cafes, bars and restaurants, You can even walk along the lakeside to the boat stop where you can catch a boat to all the other towns and villages on the lake. For the sporty amongst you, there are tennis courts just a few minutes walk away as well as a water sports centre where you can hire canoes, pedaloes and boats. You can also hire bikes on site. Both e-bikes and traditional bicycles are available. Since the property is within walking distance of the boat stop, a car is not essential although having one will potentially allow you to explore more of the area. For those that do hire a car, the property has allocated parking in an underground car park. If you don't want to hire a car, it is easy to reach the property from Milan Malpensa airport by either train or by taxi. Just let us know if you need any help booking a taxi transfer.
